"Yes, we're over." she said, remembering how she broke up with Leo.

She said it as tears escaped from her eyes but she hurriedly wiped it.

"I heard some good news, you guys are finally over? Let's celebrate!" Her dad said while holding a bottle of wine.

"Masunurin talaga ang unica ija ko, well done, sweetie." Her mother walked towards her and pat her shoulders. "It'okay, it's okay, I'll set up everything. I'll make sure you'll shine so bright on the day of your wedding with Kael. Right, Greg?" tumango naman ang asawa nito.

"Yes mom, please make it happen." Kael said while smiling.

Nagtawanan silang lahat except her. "Excuse me."

She can't believe them, she can't believe that her own family were the ones to break her heart, they're taking her happiness away, they will do everything they want kahit na kapalit pa non ang sarili niyang kagustuhan at kasiyahan.

She hugged her pillow. Thinking about what she said to Leo earlier. It wasn't all true. She didn't fall out of love, she doesn't want to make him as her friend only, the truth is she loves him, she's loving him everyday and it may sound cheezy but she want to be with him for the rest of her life. She doesn't want any other guy more than Leorence Alvarez.

Pero kahit na ganon, alam niyang imposible na ang lahat, kaya hiniling na lang niya kay Leo na sana maging magkaibigan sila kahit na tapos na ang lahat sa kanila. It sounds pathetic, she knew, pero iyon na lang ata ang kaya niyang gawin para hindi siya makalimutan nito.

Without knocking the door, Greg entered her room at tumabi sa kanya. "Babe." He called her. He kissed her and hugged her. His hands were in her shoulders. "I'm excited on our wedding day."

Kahit pa nagsasalita si Kael sa tabi niya ay hindi niya ito maintindihan dahil kay Leo lang ang isip niya, pati ang puso niya. Hindi niya naman ginusto ang makasal sa Kael na ito.

Palibhasa, mukhang pera ang mga magulang niya kaya pati siya ay nadadamay. Kagaya na lang ng ginawa nila sa kanya noon kay Grayson, muntik na siyang ipakasal para makuha lang ang pera ng mga Chan, luckily, he found Catherine.

Bea thought that is the end of her parents' insanity, but that's what her thought.

"What are you thinking?" Kael kissed her again, nagiging malikot na ang mga kamay nito.

She flinched and didn't answer his question.

He stopped and asked her. "You're thinking of your ex?" tumayo ito at hinarap siya.

Umupo naman ng maayos si Bea. "No, no. I'm thinking of our we--"

"You still love him? You still love your ex?"

Umiling si Bea. "Let's try to talk about our wedding--"

"Our wedding? It seems like you're not interested. Answer me straight to the point, Bea. Do you still love him?"

Agad na umiling si Bea pero nakatanggap pa din siya ng sampal mula rito na ikinagulat niya. Her body shivered, she suddenly become scared, remembering something traumatizing her dad did to her when she was still a kid.
