// Emily's POV \\

All of the second year were gathered in the cafeteria on campus for some sort of meeting.

"As you all know our only art classroom on campus was flooded last week and will no longer be used as an art classroom".

"What?" I kind of shouted.

"Calm down sweet heart" I looked over to where the strong deep accent was coming from. A tall boy stood leaning against one of the tables smirking at me. His blonde quiff was the first thing that caught my eye until I came to the piece of black metal looped around his lip. He was attractive but sounds like a jerk. I think I must have seen him around campus a few times but never really payed attention to him.

I decided to just ignore his snide comment and continue listening to head of campus.

It looked like I was the only one paying attention, everyone else was doing their own thing.

I spun around to take a look at where all the laughing was coming from. The group of boys whom the blonde one was involved with were obviously entertained by something.

"You may be dismissed".

As I was leaving the cafeteria a bunch of thoughts came rushing to my mind. Where was I supposed to go at 3am to do my art. It was the only room I knew was empty that early. I could never do it in my dorm, especially with Leah coming in with all her 'friends'.
I wouldn't be too bothered about my art but I know how much my dad paid for this uni' so I'm determined to walk out of here with a good result.

***

Friday night, great. To say there is a limit for how loud you are supposed to have your music nobody really pays attention. These dorm walls might as well not even be here.
Stupid of me to think I could get all my project done in my dorm before Leah gets back.

"Talk of the devil" I mumbled to my self as she came flopping through the door.

"Leave" she slurred as she sat down on her bed leaning down to take her shoes off.

"What wh- oh" I cut my self off as a familiar face walked through the door.
There the blonde boy stood leaning on the door frame smirking at me, again.

"Me and Luke have some buisness to deal with" Leah and Luke both did small giggles. Was I the only one here who didn't find this funny?

"Yeah, bye" I picked up my sketch pad and wrapped my thick coat around me as I noticed the temperature had dropped quite a bit.

I placed my sketch book under one arm and my bag on my opposite shoulder as I made the way over to the door.

I came to a halt as I noticed he didn't even make the effort to step a side. "Well" I said frustration clear in my voice.

"Can I look in your sketch book?" He grinned. Like hell I was going to let anybody look in my sketch book.

I sighed deciding pushing my way past him was my only option.

"Another time Emily babe" he called after me when I reached half way down the corridor.
I could hear Leah laughing along with him. She is only ever nice to me when shes not drunk or wants to borrow my car.

I decided to ditch my car as I don't even know where I'm going. Where could I go?

Maybe a walk to the coast would be an option. I was thinking about taking some sketches for my project of the coast front.

***

I set my self down a good distance away from the tide so I had enough time to do what I needed to do.

I checked the time on my ipod as I put on my playlist. 11:54pm.

"Plenty of time" I mumbled to my self.

When I was comfy enough sat on my coat as it wasn't as cold down here, I began to draw what I could see in front of me.

Once I was satisfied with my work I set my sketch book down at the side of me and positioned my self into a laying position. I wasn't going to sleep, I was only resting my eyes.

Soon enough I let my music take over my senses.

*

"EMILY, EMILY WHAT ARE YOU DOING MOVE" I was suddenly awoken by waves crashing above my hips and I also noticed it was raining.

"EMILY" I shot up out of the water backing up against the nearest rock. I used both of my hands to push my long hair out of my face. I began to panic, how did I fall to sleep. There was no way of me getting out of this, it felt like all the rocks around were closing in on me. I stood there not quite knowing what was going on.

The shouting must be coming from the figure stood on the higher rocks in the distance.

"Emily get ou-"

The voice was suddenly cut off by the sound of water filling my senses.

Before I could even get air my mouth was filled with the thick salty water. I struggled to find my way back to the surface. I was kicking my legs and throwing my arms out around me like there was no tomorrow. I needed air.

A strong pair of arms pulled me to the surface, then that was it. Everything went black.
