Aubree's pov

Alex and I were driving to the party in a comfortable silence. The sorority house wasn't too far away from the dorm rooms. So at least five minuets away.

"I didn't know they put opposite sex in the same dorm room", Alex say. I thought the same thing. I still am in shock on the whole situation.

"Aparently they do." I responded "But he's not that bad than you think." Why am I defending him.

About two minutes later we finally arrive about thirty minutes fashionably late. As soon an I walk in alcohol and sweat hits my nose. What did I expect ponies and rainbows. I'm not much into grinding and half having sex in the middle of the room, but its nature.

"I'm going to get us drinks be right back" I nod. I look around seeing unfamiliar faces until I come across one familiar brown ones. Some blonde bimbo was grinding against him while he was staring right at me. Afraid to look more. I looked away as Alex was coming up handing me my drink.

" Here you go. I promise I didn't do anything to it," I smile. That's what I like about Alex. He has a good sense of humor when he wants to. He does it most of the time to lighten the mood a little.

I take a last sip of my drink. I'm not going to get drunk with a couple of cups. I've drink enough to hold my alchol down.

" I'm getting another drink",I say. " Be right back" he nods.

I walk up to the bartender in unease he seems creepy.

"Hi can you get me another drink please," I say. "Jack Daniels." he nods

I turn around a see Jace is lip locking with another girl than last time. As feeling my stare he looks up and catches my stare. I blush looking away. I have this feeling. Is it jealously? Can't be. I don't like him. Do I?

I was so out of it i didn't even know the bartender was getting my attention.

"Excuse me miss. Here's you drink." he says handing me the drink with a smile.

I takena sip. I almost shutter at the weird taste this gave me. Instantly getting dissy. I knew someone spiked my drink.

Twenty minutes later I was fully wasted. I felt someone grab my arm and pull me up the stares into a room. I couldnt get a sight in the dark on whi this guys was but I knew this was not a good person.

Jace pov

Some girl was grinding on me while we were kissing. Aubree came in looking fine as hell but, looked ...hurt? Why? All I wanted to do was go over there and make her happy. I like her, but I can't have her. I cant love her. I promise my self after my Melody.

I was in love before. I had Melody. I was going to propose to her on her birthday. I went to her house that day knocked on her door and her mother answered and said she was in her room. I went up and went in her room and instantly regreted it. There was my girlfriend and my bestfreind in the bed half naked. After that day I turned cold and became a playboy. I used girls. I promised myself not to love again. I can't fall in love with Aubree.

Speaking of Aubree. I haven't seen her after she had gotten her drink. Being worried. I got the girl of my lap.  I started looking for her. I bumped into her bestfreind.

"Alex right," he nods " I cant find Aubree I'm getting worried someone might have taken her. Can you help me find her." he agrees with me and helps me look for her.

I take a few steps upstairs and I hear some "stops" and cries and recognize it as Aubree. Immedently my vision goes red and barge though the door.

"GET THE FUCK OFF OF HER YOU ASSHOLE." I threw the man off of her and Alex goes up and starting to beat the shit out of the dude.

" Are you ok Aubree? Are you hurt?" I ask covering her up and picking her up. I run out the door and placing her gently in the backseat of my car and driving her to our dorm room. She is asleep but still slightly crying well more hiccuping than crying. Im just worried about her.

I arrive to our dorm room and kick the door room open. I went to her room and gently put her in her bed. I took of my shirt and put it on her to cover her. I went to leave but a hand grabbed my arm pulling me down on the bed.

" Please stay." she croaked out.

I lay down plasing her on my chest.

"Shh its ok I'm here" I whisper quietly

I promised myself, but I cant help to fall for her.
