In shock Jose fell to his knees, crying "no, this can't be happening" Jose wipes the tears from his eyes and stared at the burning house burn to it's ashes. His mother, father, brother, sister was in that house. What happens, why didn't he been there to prevent this from happening.  Sirens invaded the peaceful neighbourhood besides the crackling fire burning his house and family. Firetrucks, police cars, ambulance screeched blocking any cars to pass by. Firefighters jumped out of the truck and ran into the house trying to see if there was any survivors. Women, men, children opened their doors to see what was going on. Jose sat on the ground crying, his head in his hands sobbing. Other firefighters use the hose to take out the fire.

A police man approached Jose, sitting next to Jose he sighed "I'm sorry for your loss sir" the officers pale blue eyes stared into Jose's puffy greenish-gray eyes.

He sniffled
Sniff
Sniff

"Unfortunately you aren't old enough to live by yourself at age 15 we would be sending you to an orphanage so you can find another family" The officer said his eyes crinkled downward showing sympathy. Jose nods his head.

A firefighters walked outside holding his little sister limp body.

"Isabella, no" Jose said under his breath. He watched as they put his family on a stretcher and put a white plastic over their bodies, Jose got up. "We'll be taking you taking you to the orphanage now" the officer said, Jose nods and follows him to the police car.  Jose got in the back which was really hard to move the driver seat was up against his knees.

He couldn't be able to go to sleep and sleep away the pain, he Stayed up and stared out the window. after what felt like years he was finally in front of a brick building with a few windows. The police officer opened the door for Jose. "Your at your new home now, well for now" the police officer closes the door after Jose gotten out.

Jose walked up the five steps to the door, he rung the doorbell. He looked around there was chalk on the sidewalk of stick figure men and women holding hands and smiling, there was pictures of flowers and grass. There was hopscotch game. The door flew open, scaring Jose and falling to his butt. Jose groan in pain, propping himself on his elbows looking up to an old woman standing in front of him grinning.
