Frankie's POV

~Flashback~

"Look at the freak!"

"Even her Weapon is a freak!"

I wiped away my tears and ran from the schoolyard. Michael, my Weapon, followed me.

"Frankie! Wait up!" He yelled.

I slid to a stop when I almost slammed into a boy. He had silver hair, and he wore circular glasses.

"You're Frankie, right?" He asked.

I hesitantly nodded. He held his hand out. A small bow was sitting on his palm.

"You dropped this." He said.

I reached out and took it from him. Michael reached us then.

"Oh. Hey, Stein." He said to the boy.

"Hello, Michael." 'Stein' answered.

"Frankie, don't run off like that. Lord Death told us to stay at the school." Michael said, looking at me.

I lowered my head.

Michael laughed and laid his hand on the top of my head. "Don't get all upset. I won't tell him about this."

I smiled and looked at 'Stein'.

"Oh, right. Frankie, this is Franken Stein. He is Spirit's Meister. Stein, this is Frankie. She is my Meister." Michael said.

Franken smiled at me and held out his hand. "It's nice to meet you."

I shook his hand. "It's a pleasure."

I looked at Michael when he gasped. "You actually spoke!"

"Is that such a surprise?" Franken asked.

"She hasn't spoken up ever sense we came here, and that was three years ago. She wouldn't even talk to Lord Death when he asked her questions."

Franken laughed. "If you don't mind, I'd like to ask some questions. You won't stay quiet, will you?" He looked at me.

I shook my head and looked at Michael. He sighed and walked back to the school.

"Come sit down." Franken said, walking to a large boulder.

He helped me climb on, and he sat down next to me.

"Do you have a last name?" He asked.

"No."

"Why not?"

"I can't remember it."

"What happened?"

I shrugged. "I woke up in a field of bodies, and I couldn't remember anything. I just came here because it was the only real thing I could remember."

"Did you get hurt?"

I rolled up my sleeve and showed him the stitch marks. He gasped and reached his hand out. I giggled when he hesitated to touch me.

"It's okay. It won't hurt me." I said.

He ran his fingers over my stitches, and a chill ran through me.

~Flashback End~

I ran my fingers over the stitches on my arm and looked at myself in the mirror. I looked exactly like him now. The screw in my head was in the same place as his, and my body was covered in lines of stitches.

"I'll finally get to see you again, Stein." I whispered.
