I actually finished this chapter last week,I just completely forgot to update it. Oops.

I knew I was never getting out. I couldn't escape. We were finally in Seattle, starting our "life" together.
"LAUREN!!!!" Jack shouted. I still couldn't figure out whether to call him Jack or Mike. Also, he kept changing my name. That really confused me.
"Coming!" I replied. I stomped down the stairs in my old lady dress.
"I really know how to pick out clothes." Jack said, grabbing my waist and squeezing.
I gagged and stepped back.
"The neighbors invited us to a BBQ. I want you to play along and be friendly, you hear? Also, my name is Jim, and your name is Lauren. We are happily dating. We just moved in. We don't want another incident, do we?" I cringes when he said incident. I still couldn't believe what he did to his own family. That only made me cringe more.

Around 2:00 we headed to the neighbors house. The house was a tiny two story townhouse, painted yellow and red. The front yard was cluttered with junk, mostly strange art forms. I winced when Jack put his arm around my waist. He rung the door bell. Instead of a chime, a cow mooed. I looked to Jack with confusion but he just shrugged. When the door finally opened, I giggled.
In front of me stood an older women, maybe in her early 60s, with a huge grin. She had wild black hair and heavy makeup. She was wearing a bright pink shirt, and baggy green pants.
"OH MY GOD!!!!!!" She squealed. "Look how cute you two are together!" Her voice make we cringe. It was so high pitched and loud.
"I'm Linda, and my husband Tom should be right outside." I felt Jack tense up at the mention of Tom. That's what you get for killing your own brother.
As we walked into the house. The walls were bright green, and covered with amazing paintings. The surfaces were covered in odd sculptures, some made out of trash.
"I'm guessing your an artist?" I questioned.
Linda just giggled and nodded. We exited the house through a back door. I noticed a tall middle aged man at the grill, assuming it was Tom.
"Oh, new neighbors! Nice to meet you!" Tom said, sticking out his hand.
We introduced ourselves and shook hands. Suddenly, I heard a loud flap. A small black dog ran out of a doggie door and jumped on me.
"LOUIE! OFF!" Tom barked at the dog. He shot me an appalogetic look.
"No, it's fine, I love dogs!" I replied, rubbing his belly. He was the cutest dog ever!
"Linner is ready!" I was interrupted of my dog-petting session by Linda.
"Linner?" I questioned as I sat down at the outdoor table.
"You know, lunch and dinner?" She replied, as if it were obvious.
"Oh, right...."
Jack and Tom came out from the kitchen, carrying corn and hamburger buns.
"Dig in!" Tom exclaimed.
"Of course." Jack answered, squeezing my hand. I shivered in disgust. Out of impulse, really.
As we ate, we discussed simple matters such as dogs and neighborhood gossip.
"So, where do you work?" Tom asked the both of us.
"Well," Jack replied, "I'm working at the paper plant, but looking for something in engineering. Lauren here is staying home, watching over the house."
"That's nice! If you ever want to come over and chat, feel free!" Linda added.
"I don't think so." Jack mumbled.
"What was that? Why not?" Tom asked, almost aggressively.
Jack tensed up.
"Lauren is just.... Really busy." He finally spit out.
Tom gave me a questionable look, but I just shrugged. I couldn't give my self away. I just couldn't do what I did to Barbara and Tom again. Just thinking about it made me tear up.
"..... are very happy together, aren't we sweetie?" Jack asked me.
"Um sure." Jack looked at me with his sinister growl, the one that made me cry every night.
"I mean, were very much in love. I don't know what I'd do without him." I choked out. The words made me want to throw up, but I just had to smile and pretend to love my worst nightmare.
Jack grabbed my face with force and got on one knee.
"Baby, I couldn't think of a better time to ask this."
No,no,no. Shit!
"I've loved you for a very long time. We were made to be together." His hands were still roughly attached to my face. His eyes showed no mercy, as if saying "love me or die." Of course he would do this in front of people, as a witness. He knew I couldn't react the way I wanted too. Not if I wanted Linda or Tom to make it to see tomorrow.
"Will you, Lauren McKee, marry me?" He finally asked.
Linda's eyes lit up. Tom looked confused as to why someone was proposing to his SO on his property. Especially at a neighborly BBQ.
I gulped loudly.
"I... I...."
I have to. I hate it, but I have to.
"Yes." I finally forced out.
Jack shot me a devilish smile. He thrusted his hands towards his face, bringing my head with it. Jack roughly kissed me, licking my teeth and grinding his tongue against mine. I felt like kicking him and running away.
"AWWW!!!" Linda squealed, making Jack (finally) release me. "ISNT THAT CUTE TOM!?"
"Um sure. Congrats guys. Mind helping me bring out dessert?" Tom asked Jack.
"Of course."

Ugh. I'm actually mad at this situation.
This family is inspired my one of my best friend, except Linda is way younger and prettier.
