Like a Fairytale

Chapter 6

HINATA

We arrived earlier than the time we should met with my unknown fiancée. I asked my father if I could just make rounds at the hotel. "Be sure to be here at exactly 3," father said. "I will," I replied.

Usually, when I am at the hotel I prefer to go to the indoor garden. It makes me calm when I'm there, maybe because of my mom Hikari Hyuuga. She looks just like me said dad except for our eyes. She was the one who suggested having the garden indoor. Sometimes I wish she's here with me right now so I can speak with her about this marriage.

Mom left us with my sister Hanabi 4 years ago. Mom fought with the elders. Instead of going with her I choose to be with father. We don't know where they are nor have contacts to them.Father tried to look for them but the elders were against my father's decision. This was also the reason I went to England apart from studying because Father found out that mom and Hanabi was last seen in England.

I started on the fountain at the center but saw a familiar creature with orange fur, it's Kurama. I called the fox and it came running to me. "Hey boy, is Naruto with you?" I asked. The fox seemed to understand what I've said and wanted me to follow him.

A boy I definitely knew came to view. I thought looking at him, 'Those whiskers-like birthmarks on his cheeks make him more attractive.'

I push the thought aside and walked to him. He didn't notice me until I tap his shoulders. "Do you have a problem Naruto?" I asked. "You're in deep thought aren't you?"

"I umm... sorry about that Hinata." He replied. "No worries," I said. "By the way, what are you doing here?"

"I am to meet someone and I umm... Well just forget," he muttered. "It's still early so why not join me." "Sure but I need to get back with my father at exactly 3."

Naruto and I came out in the indoor garden. We talked about thing we like while entering the lobby. People watched us we talked. I was curious why but I didn't realize that Naruto held my hand. When I turned to look at him I saw he was blushing and I can feel my face heating up.

We overheard two elders talking about how cute we are. The lady with the red hat said, "How nice to see kids like these. When they grow up, they would be a perfect couple." "Yup, they definitely complement each other," the other agreed.

Hearing their words made me blush even more. I don't know what to do. And I felt Naruto started fidgeting. "Naruto is there a problem?" I asked. "Yes. No." he answered. "What I mean is, I don't know how to say this but Hinata--" he paused. "We just met like two weeks ago and I can't stop thinking about you. We're still young but I already understand what I feel about you. I really like you Hinata."

Surprised of Naruto's sudden confession I froze. I started to cry. "Why are you crying? Did I say something wrong?" he asked.

I calmed myself and gathered my courage, "I like you too Naruto." He hugged me and I hugged him back. "I wasn't being honest to you," he started. I looked at him with a confused expression. "I just want you to know that whatever happened today, remember that I liked you and it will stay like that." I thought, "I should tell him the truth too." He hugged me again.

Two people emerge from the elevator. One said, "What do we have here?" while the other said," Young lady, would you mind explaining these."

I and Naruto looked at the two which was my father while the other one looks like Naruto except for the whiskers.

"Young man, care to explain," the man asked. "Umm... Dad I, Umm..." Naruto sweating bullets and can't answer. "How about you young lady," father questioned me. I didn't answer and I don't know how.

Both of them chuckled. I was curious why they are laughing. I want to ask but Naruto beat me. "What so funny, guys?"

"Well, should we tell them." father asked Naruto's Dad. "I think they can guess already." He replied.

"By the way, I am Naruto's father. My name is Minato. Please be good to my son." He said. "Before I forget you may call me dad too," and he gave me his genuine smile.

"Ehh..." both I and Naruto exclaimed.

Both men left us and entered the elevator. I was shocked and as well the boy beside me. After a long silence, we spoke.

"That means you're my..."

"And you are my..."

"Fiancée," we both said.
