Chapter 24: Sick

24:

"This tour has been great, thank you guys so much for coming out and supporting us!" Austin yelled into the mic.

Just like old times Angel and I were standing together side stage watching the boys kill it. I missed this, they were so good live. They came running off the stage and I smiled as I watched Alan happily scoop up Angel into his arms and spin her around, kissing her forcefully and falling on the floor together as they lost their balance. I laughed, watching him kiss her nose then pull them back to their feet. As this happened two arms slinked around me from behind and spun me around. Austin leaned down and kissed me on the lips sweetly and when he pulled away I snuggled up against his sweaty cheat for a tight hug. He chuckled, looking down at me and kissing the top of my head.

"I thought you hate it when I'm all sweaty."

"I do but I've decided to make an exception this visit because I missed you this much." I said, pecking him on the lips again.

"I'm gonna miss you..." he sighed, looking sad. They had to start driving to the next show tonight and Avery and I were staying in the hotel again tonight then driving back tomorrow.

I wasn't sure what Angel was doing since her and Alan had just reunited but I didn't think they'd let her tag along for long so she might as well come with us. That was the sucky part for her about coming back during a tour.

We all piled back into the bus and they drove us to the hotel. I fed the fish and sat in Austin's lap the entire time trying to soak in our last minutes together.

We chatted about life and just anything in general in the back lounge with everyone as we waited to get dropped off. Austin mindlessly pet my hair the whole time, which felt amazing, I loved when people messed with my hair.

"So Angel, are you staying with us tonight and going home tomorrow?" I asked curiously. She looked hopefully back at Alan but she knew she couldn't stay. He shook his head slightly, both looking really sad and she turned to me and nodded.

"Yeah, John has my stuff." She said.

"At least the UK leg of the tour is only 3 weeks, we'll be home soon." Aaron said optimistically making us all smile.

Just then the bus came jerking to a stop and I looked outside to see we had arrived at the hotel.

We all sighed but got up and hugged it out and said our goodbyes to everyone before Alan and Austin walked us out.

Avery went right inside but we stayed outside and walked a couple feet down the side walk so Angel and Alan could have their time and we could have ours.

"I don't wanna leave you." I murmured, holding on to him for dear life. He sighed and nodded in agreement.

"If I didn't have too I wouldn't." He said softly, wrapping me up in his arms, giving me a big bear hug. "But we'll be home soon and we still talk every day, I'll be home before you know it." He said encouragingly. I wasn't one to cry but something about what he said brought the tears to my eyes.

"I know." I choked out. He pulled away, taking my face between his hands in shock.

"Are-are you crying? You never cry, aw don't do that." He said, whipping the tears away and kissing my face.

"I know, I don't know why, this just sucks I missed you so much and we're already going our separate ways." I said in a shaky voice, burying my face in his chest again.

"I'm sorry." He said softly, holding me tightly again.

"You have nothing to apologize about." I chuckled. "This is part of your job and I knew it, I'm just being emotional, it's not your fault." I sighed, finally letting him go.
