Jack's POV
"There is this girl, a beautiful, talented, smart girl. I think I love her. I'm not sure how to tell her. How to ask her out. I want to make her mine. I need to tell her how I feel but...... how? Tonight, tonight I can tell her how I feel. I will ask her on a date. A date, perfect. I will ask her out on a date and tell her how I feel. This is gonna be great..... wait, what if I mess up. What if she doesn't like me back? I'm gonna have to take that chance. I have to tell her, I want to tell her. Tonight will be the day when I find out the truth. Hopefully it will be good. I really hope it will be good. Alright today I'm going to ask her on a date. I think I'm ready. All I have to do is walk out that door and ask her out. That simple. I can do this, let's go." I said and I got up and changed into some decent clothes. A pineapple shirt, an overwatch sweater, pants and some running shoes. I sighed and looked around my room, "Am I forgetting anything?" I grabbed my wallet and phone and walked out the door. I shivered and zipped up my coat. I walked down the cold sidewalk as white clouds came from my mouth and disappeared with every breath I took. I looked up at the sky just to see grey clouds blocking the sun from showing. As the clouds parted and the sun came out again I got a ray of hope, physically and mentally. I believed that this was gonna go well, that maybe possibly she would like me back. This thought caused my feet to move a little faster down the sidewalk, and the next thing I knew I was standing outside her house.
By now that had kind of faded so I was nervous again, I slowly walked up to her door and knocked on the door. Taking slow breaths and kind of dancing in place I waited for someone to answer the door. After a few minutes I felt like she probably wasn't home or she didn't want to see me. As I was about to turn around I heard the door creek open... it was Signe!
"H-hey" she said nervously. I realized that she looked tired and that she was in her pjs. At first I was confused, then I checked my watch and realized that it was 6:30 am. I muttered fuck under my breath, I must've woken her, "What's up?" I turned back to her and said quickly, "Will you go on a date with me?" As soon as those words left my mouth she smiled and said, "Yes!" All my doubt left me and I smiled as well so happy that she agreed to go on a date with me, "Will tomorrow work for you?" she asked. I nodded and said "7?" she nodded and smiled again. I blushed her smile was so adorable. She blushed as well and said, "I'll see you tomorrow at 7 then Sean." I nodded and my brain started to come up with millions of ideas of where we should go, I smiled goofily and she giggled and started to close the door, I waved goodbye and she waved back and the door closed. I had a feeling that this date was gonna go well!
