Jaehee's Pov

The moment I opened my eyes, the first thing that welcomed me was the blinding light shining down on me from the opened window.

Even though the blazing sun was burning my skin, but it didn't hurt as much. In fact, I felt my muscles became stronger like I was able to do anything and my hearing became more sharper, I could hear little noises that came from my surrounding.

It was something out of a movie, I wasn't able to explain how but it felt like I had some sort of supernatural abilities.

"Jaehee..." I flinched at the voice of someone calling my name. "Jaehee..."

I slowly moved my eyes and waited until my vision was clearer so I could take a proper look at the person sitting on the bed next to me, he was looking down at me and finally smiled when we locked eyes.

"How are you feeling?" The man asked. I didn't answer when I moved my eyes away from him and looked behind only to see 10 more guys in the room.

I placed my attention back on him and tried to lift myself up, Suho who was sitting on the bed helped me to sit up properly since my head was still a little bit fuzzy.

"What happened?" I asked as I rubbed my temple.

Chanyeol walked up to me and hand me a glass of water which I gladly took and drank in one-go. "You don't remember?"

"What do you mean?" Chanyeol took the glass from my hand after I was done drinking.

I saw the boys exchanged glances before one of them spoke up, it was none other than Kris. "Luhan turned you yesterday and now you've become like him." He made it simple so I could understand it easily.

Now I remembered, I agreed with their plan to turn me into a hybrid, it was the only way to get rid of the poison from my system, I was reluctant to do it but now that I did, I feel more alive and more....stronger.

"Wait, where's Luhan?" I asked as I scanned the room hoping to see his face but he was not among them.

"He went off somewhere right after he carried u here. He hasn't come back since last night." Xiumin replied in a concern tone.

"I think it took a huge toll on him for doing what he did yesterday especially to you." Said Kai.

They meant Luhan blamed himself because of me? But I chose this path, it wasn't his fault, he didn't make me do anything. I need to tell him this.

"Anybody have any idea where he might be?"

Some of them shrugged and some of them shook their head, but then Suho spoke up at that moment. "He's probably down by the lake. If you go deeper into the woods, you'll see a signboard that says Bonhua Lake. It might be that he stayed there all night."

I nodded my head and thanked him before I got out of bed, grabbed my sweater and ran out of the cabin. Before I left I told the members not to follow me and to give a moment of privacy to Luhan and I.

All the trees looked the same so I had a really hard time finding the lake that Suho mentioned earlier. But it didn't matter because all I wanted to do was find Luhan and try to ease a little of his pain.

If I don't do anything then who knows what Luhan might do to himself.
