Ember Town

Chapter 2

Jenna spotted tons of people walking here and there, busy checking things and kind of doing on their own. She thought of that she was about the same as them as if she was waiting for her aunt. She walked around in the Atasia Railway Station to catch a glimpse of her aunt.

As she was looking for her aunt, someone patted her shoulder.

" Hey, Jenna! "

" Aunt Andrea !! " Jenna was surprised as her aunt suddenly appeared in front of her out of the blue. Immediately, she hugged her aunt tightly with overwhelming excitement.

Aunt Andrea hugged her back, and said " So, who's that beside you? "

" Oh yeah, this is Harris. " Jenna answered as she turned her gaze to her friend beside her. " This is my aunt, you can call her Aunt Andrea." said Jenna, with a small smile. " I didn't know that you have relatives here, if not I won't come with you ." Harris said with a playful smile. " But, I'm happy to meet you, aunt Andrea. " he shook hands with her.

The trio walked out of the railway station and went to aunt Andrea's car.

" You've changed your car? " Jenna asked from the back seat of the car. Long ago, when she was 3 years old, her family brought her here to visit aunt Andrea. She still remember that her car was the brand of Letux. But now, it had changed to the brand of Mitrix.

" Yeah, how is it then? "

" It's cool! " Jenna exclaimed. " And its colour attracts my eyes too! "

" Haha thanks... It was from the car factory your uncle worked in . It's worth 2 million."

" Woah!! " the two exclaimed, looked at aunt Andrea from the rear-view mirror in front.

Aunt Andrea has brown hair that lay-aside her shoulder, and sea blue eyes with brown eyebrows. She is a kind person. But if she becomes angry, what would she look like? Eyebrows furrowed ? Eyes widened ? Or a fierce face would appear? Jenna thought, grinning.

Harris saw it, and said " Why are you smiling ? "

" Just thinking of something. " she said, her face flushed .

" Do you guys want some food ? Because this ride to Ember Town will be at least four or five hours since there is a serious traffic jam out there. " blurted aunt Andrea when she stopped by a street.

" Sure. " Harris and Jenna answered at the same time. They looked at each other, risus.

" Okay then . Jenna, would you please help me to lock the door ? I will go down and buy some food . " aunt Andrea said before closing the car door.

About 15 minutes later, aunt Andrea came back holding two packs of food. Just when the smell of the food fluttered inside the car, they just realized that they were already starved.

Aunt Andrea started the engine and drove off the street. She was eating her food while driving the car in the highway. Harris and Jenna were also eating the delicious food.

" Harris? " blurted Jenna, facing to him. She don't like the reticence ambience in the car.

" Yes? "

" Um... have you planned which university to go? "

" Well, not yet. Maybe I will be going to the same university as yours. " Harris blinked.

"Really? It would be awesome ! " Jenna exclaimed.

Just as Harris was opening his mouth to answer, the noise from outside stopped him.

Jenna looked out through the window . The street was filled with crowded people . A small roadway was left for the cars to go through . They were here --- The Ember Town .
