It Was Love Until You Died

Dan knew from the second he layed his eyes on Phil that he was truly in love with him. Even after having lived with Phil for years he still could not look at his beautiful face without smiling. He couldn't take it much longer, Dan's feelings for Phill were growing stronger by each passing day. Every time he looked at Phil he could barly hold himself back. All Dan wanted to do was tell Phil how he felt about him, but he couldn't. He was to afraid of what Phil would thing and if he felt the same way about Dan. every time they filmed a video together he couldn't help but stare into Phil's beautiful ocean blue eyes and at his impecable black hair. There were only two thing that Dan wanted, and that was that he was brave enough to tell Phil how he felt and that Phil felt the same way, then they could be together. Dan had been trying to convince himself to tell Phil for months but every time he said to Phil that he wanted to tell him something , Dan always backed out and said something else like
" hey, have you seen my charger?" But today that was all going to change, Dan had been planning a suprise trip into town to do a bunch of fun stuff, and confess his love for Phil. Dan had planned for them to eat dinner at his favorite Chinese/Japanese restorant and then Dan would take him to get some bubble tea. The final thing Dan would take Phil to do was take a ride on the London eye, just like how they rode the Manchester eye long ago. While they were on it Dan would confess his love for Phil.

When Dan and Phil entered the taxi Dan instantly felt extreamly nervous; but non the less Dan managed to keep himself under control. When they got to the restorant Dan felt a bit awkward. Dan ordered a salad and a grape drink. Phil lauged and said
" ha ha I just realized that your drink is called 60 shades of grape!"  Phil ordered a cranberry drink and a burger, Dan looked at Phil with a confused look on his face and said
"Seriously Phil a burger at a Chinese/Japanese restorant."
"What?  I was craving a burger. Everyone has those days" replied Phil. Dan just went with it. After all it was Phil's day even if he didn't know it. Dan could not take his eyes of Phil for a moment he was to beautiful. Luckly Phil did not notic theat Dan was staring at him. When they finished dinner Dan took Phil to get bulbble tea. Dan got a green tea and Phil got a caramel tea.
"how's your bubble tea Phil?" said Dan with a nervous cracking in his voice. Phil replied
" it's good but i'm still not a fan of the black balls at the bottom." Dan rolled his eyes and said
"It's boba Phil."
"Oh well now I know. I'll stop calling them the black balls now." Dan just kept looking at Phil's hand, there was nothing he wanted more at that moment than to hold his hand.

It was getting dark when they arrived at the London eye. This was the moment, Dan was going to tell Phil when they were at the top. When they got on Dan's heart emideatly started to race. The London eye was starting to move and they were getting closer to the top. This was the moment. The sun was starting to go down and turning the sky pink and purple. Phil looked more beautiful than ever.
"Phil?" Dan stuttered , Phil looked at Dan "There is something I have to tell you" Dan said terrified. Phil looked at him with a puzzled look and said
"what is it Dan?"
" I've been working up the courage to tell you this for a very long time Phil."
"Tell me what Dan?"
"That... That... ugh. i'm in love with with you Phil! i've been in love with you since the moment I saw you!"
"What!?" excaimed Phil
"You're gay?" Dan emediatly felt like he was going to explode with embarresment
"Yes, and i've always been scared of what you would think Phil" Phils face lit up.
" Well you don't need to be afraid anymore, because... I love you to Dan!" Dan couldn't believe it all his fears faded away, all he could think about was the happieness he felt at the moment when he found out that Phil also loved him.
"What, you do" said Dan
"Yes, i've been trying to work up the courage to tell you for so long." Phil leaned in for a kiss and Dan felt his heart beating really fast. Dan also lent in and they kissed.

Dan couldn'it beleve it, phil was finally his boyfriend. Even though Dan wanted to tell the world straight away, he honoured Phils wish to keep them seceret for a bit longer. So instead of going out on dates or holding hands, they stayed in and watched a movie together and had dinner together at home, So basicaly the same as always. About a week later Phil said to Dan that he thought it was time to tell the world about their relationship. They decided to upload a video on both of their channels. It was the scariest thing they had ever done. They knew that when they uploaded the video it would only be a matter of time until the coments would come in. It only took minutes before they had a couple hundred comments. Most of the comments were nice, their fans said things like, "Phanisonfire" and "I knew it, i'm so happy" But as always there were mean comments as well, but as usual there were way more good ones than there were bad. Dan and Phil decided they should go out on their first date now that their relationship was out in the open. They called a taxi to take them out. The taxi arrived and they got in. They couldn't have been happier, but that day would also be the worste day Dan could have imagened. When they were almost there some other car crashed into the taxi, and knocked Dan unconciouse.

When Dan woke up he saw Phil and noticed that he was not breathing
"Phil!...Phil! PHIL!! Dan started Crying Phil was dead. The driver had already called an ambulance, but it was to late, Phil was dead. The ambulance took him to the hospital but Dan didn't care if he was hurt. The only thing that mattered was that Phil was dead, and there was nothing he could do about it. There was nothing wrong with Dan, no broken bones, nothing at all. All Dan could think about was the fact that nothing had happened to him but Phil was dead.

At Phils funeral Dan could not bare to look at Phils body, he just looked down and listened to what everyone had to say. when the funeral was done, everyone went to go. Dn was about to walk out and then he turned around and took one look at Phil and burst into tears. he couldn't bare the thought that he would never see Phil again, it was to hard for him to handle. Dan stayed where he was crying for a long time. when he finally got control of himself he went home, remembering that only a week ago Dan confess his love to Phil. After the day he confessed his love he thought that he and Phil would be together for the rest of their lives, but he never could have imagened their parting to be so soon. Dan tried to confort himself by telling himself that they would meet up again in heaven, but Dan knew that this was not a posibility since he already knew that he was going to hell. Only if Dan were to be pure for the rest of his life he would see Phil again. Though this was hard he had to try so that he could one day meet back up with Phil.

When Dan entered the apartment everything just felt, wrong. Usualy walking into their apartment was a good feeling, to see all the bright happy colours.  As Dan had just been to a funeral for his Boyfriend the bright colours of their apartement seemed inappropriat and offended Dan. The only appropriat part of the apartment was Dans room. His room had always been dark but now that seemed way to fitting for the curcumstances. All Dan wanted to do for the rest of his life was curl up into a ball in his bed and stay there until he to were to also die.

Dan could not sleep that nigth. He was too busy thinking about Phil, Phils gorgeouse blue eyes, his pale skin and his raven black hair buroued into Dans brain. Dan eventualy did fall asleep and dreamt about that final moment with Phil in the car accident. Dan woke up crying his eyes out, he couldn't take it he just wanted to die in that moment. Nothing could make him feel better not even going onto tumblr and looking at all the strange things fans had made for him, because it just reminded him more of Phil. Dan decided that Phils fans should know what had happened to him, so Dan decided to make one last video to be uploaded onto both his and Phils channel before he engulfed himself in his sorrow. He started the video by trying not to cry, Dans opening sentance was " hello internet, I have some bad news." He could feeltears forming in his eyes as he said that sentance. He told the internet about the tragic incident that had taken place and how he would not be uploading and more videos for the time beig because it would  be to hard for him since they had just confessed their love for each other and told the world.

For the next few weeks all Dan did was sleep eat and watch Phils videos. He never one spoke to anyone else.At some point Dan left the house fir a walk just to do something different since he had already watched all of Phils videos multiple of times. On that walk was when he realized that this was his life now, and this would probably be the only time he would ever leave the house again. He thought to himself it would be better if he just killed himself now and end the misurey. when Dan got hoe that day he sent a message to everyone he knew saying goodbye and that he hoped he would see them again in another life and thiss would be the end of his own. After that he went to the kitchen and got a knife. Dan just looked at it, and thought. In his mind Dan could see Phils face smiling at him. Dan muttered to himself
"I love. 

The end
