Something after him

We stood there not moving, not blinking, not even breathing. Soon my eyes began to roam, first his face then his wings. Who is this man? Should I run inside?
The sound of footsteps broke our seemingly endless silence, but they weren't human. The sound of twigs crunching under two sets of feet. A pair of golden eyes peirced the darkness. From the look on the man's face I knew this was not good. He looked in the direction of the noise then swung his gaze back to me.
The man stretched his wings then in less than a second the monster in the dark pounced, the man held me in his arms as he crashed through my door and flung us both into the kitchen wall. I hadn't even seen what happened, it was a blur of color. I lay still on the floor against the wall as he dashed to the door and locked it.
"What the heck!" I screamed at the stranger ready to fight if nessesary.
He seemed confused, I was confused, who wouldn't be confused. He was a real live Sin Alas.
