Dear Death,
You move like a shadow. Slipping over things unknowingly until it is to late. You are a thief. A thief of ones future. A thief to families. Friends. Strangers. A innocent life gone because of your greed. You take but never give. Death...why? What is it for? Life gives you gifts to make you happy. You give her a fake smile and put on a mask. But really you can't see the light. Inflicting pain on others is the only thing that makes you happy. "When will they realize?" You ask. I don't know Death. I understand. I can't tell you it's alright because it won't help. People are blinded by the sadness and pain you cause. They don't see you. They see what you've done. What you continue to do. The endless cycle. Yet I don't cry because of the life that was lived by the things you take. I cry because of the future they won't be there for. The amazing moments they won't be with the people that they love for. Death? Have you lost someone? Or is this how it always has been? I see the pain under the mask you wear Death. I see it. I hope you find the light one day Death. I really do.
                                            Love, Me
