Ever since I gave Zane my phone number, we have been texting non-stop.

I really enjoyed his personality and humor. It was such a relief to find someone who isn't so caught up in their ego.

We had made plans to attend dinner and then a movie together. Luckily I would get to know him more at dinner, like he said. He insisted that we go out together and learn about each other more.

I was already dressed and ready, waiting for Zane to arrive at my parents estate. I kept everything casual but a little spiced up with my silk black dress, that stopped mid-thigh. It clung to my tanned skin, revealing the curves I had.

There is nothing wrong with showing off what you got, just don't be overly cocky about it.

My hair was in its natural wavy state, as I didn't feel like doing anything to it. My make up was kept simple, a little powder and mascara, along with some highlight...Ya girl gotta glow.

An all blacked out car appeared in front of my house, soon enough revealing Zane with neatly combed hair and in a black suit. My god, did he look attractive.

He waited at the passenger side door and opened it when I approached, letting me slide into the car. I watched as he ran over to his side and got in, bucked his seatbelt and started the engine.

"You ready?" He smiled at me, revealing his pearly whites.

The only thing I could do was smile back and nod while sitting in the comfortable silence.

"Where are we going?" I blurted out in the middle of the drive, receiving a glance from Zane.

"We are going somewhere special, somewhere I don't take many people," He replied with no detail whatsoever, and I was okay with that. I trusted him.

We arrived at a fancy Italian restaurant, full of business people and others. I could tell this place was A1 and only had the best service.

Zane had walked back to a table that was set neatly and further away from others. The white tablecloth hung elegantly across the table that had a bouquet of roses set neatly in the middle. I was in awe as I closed the distance between myself and the beautiful presentation.

"It's gorgeous!" I smiled up at Zane.

His light chuckle filled my ears. "I'm glad you like it."

We sat down and began to eat our meals after a few minutes. The night was going by quick as I got to learn more about Zane.

Apparently he is the Beta of a royal pack, hasn't found his mate yet and doesn't really do the dating thing, this was all new to him. He's 24, went to school for business and basically maintains the pack all day.

I wanted to press and see what pack he was apart of but, I thought it would be better if he told me at his own pace. I don't want to scare away the only male I've ever enjoyed the company of.

I began to talk about myself, explaining my family, where I come from and what I do. His gaze continued to flicker back and forth between me and the front of the restaurant.

I was in the middle of a sentence when he cut me off and excused himself. I watched him walk away from the table in confusion and walk towards a different table full of men in suits. I carefully zoned in on the table, allowing all of my senses to train on it and the men around it.
