"Are you ready to go yet?" I heard a voice call from outside my bedroom door. I rolled my eyes knowing how impatient my friends could be when we are planning to go out.
"One minute Jess! I have to finish my hair then I'll be ready." I called and rolled my eyes when I heard her scoff. I finished the last bit of curls in my long hair. I stood back and looked at myself in the mirror. The tight dress I had picked out hugged my body perfectly and my makeup looked great! I was used to this kind of attire because it seems all I ever do anymore is go out to London and drink. My mother would be very disappointed in the women I am now but it's who I am. Not like she could ever find out anyway.
"Damnit Chirstina, if you don't come on I'm going to leave you here!" Jess yelled at me again. I groaned and walked over to the door. Once it was opened she immediately grabbed my wrist and started pulling me toward the front door. I pulled my arm away long enough to grab my purse and slip my heels on.
"I don't get why you take so long to get ready like you don't do this every night. And it's not like you're dressing to impress anyone. I never see you leave with someone." Jess snapped in my direction.
"Maybe I actually care about how I look before I get absolutely smashed Jessica. It's not like it matters when we show up. You make it seem like we're late for some big important meeting. News flash babe, we are going to a pub to drink." I sassily replied to the women standing in front of me, earning myself an eye roll.
"Exactly! We are going to drink. Meaning I want to get the hell out of this house. Now, let's go!" I was once again being pulled out of the house. Once the house was locked up we jumped into her car and started on our way. Some new song was playing on the radio so neither of us were aware of what the words being said were. I laid my head back and listened to the beautifully sung but somewhat dirty lyrics. Once we arrived at the pub we exited the vehicle. The doorman automatically recognized Jess and I. We were immediately pulled into a hug causing a laugh to escape me.
"Hi Josh!" I smiled pulling away from the very large male.
"Hello beautiful ladies. Head right in, but it's a bit crowded tonight."
"Good! More people to mingle with!" Jess said with a wink as we walked into the building. I walked away from Jessica knowing I would be the one to order our first round of drinks. I smiled to the bartender and he grinned back at me. I ordered our drinks and turned around to look at the huge crowd of people, while turning my elbow had hit someone in the back and the male turned around to face me.
"Oh my, I'm so sorry!" I quickly said to the man in front of me. I quickly took notice of the smirk that had rested on his face.
"You're good, babe." I smiled and grabbed the drinks that the bartender laid out beside me.
"You here alone beautiful?" I secretly rolled my eyes at the stupid pick up line that everyone uses before placing a smile on my face and turning toward the man again.
"Oh, no! I'm here with a friend. I was in charge of buying the drinks." I informed him before I moved away from him, drinks in hand. He was a little weird. Attractive, but weird. I shook my head as I approached Jess and handed her the drink before we took the shot. I watched as she went to the dance floor and immediately started grinding on the lucky guy she was probably taking home that night. I rolled my eyes before pulling out my phone, checking my text messages.
Taylor: Hey girl! What are you doing tonight?<3
Me: Just out with Jess! Any special plans tonight?
I slide my phone back in my purse and contemplated ordering myself another drink. I noticed the male that was talking to me earlier was joined by another guy who was noticeably taller. I took a deep breath before heading in the direction of the bar again. The males immediately took notice of me and the one smirked at me again causing yet another eye roll. When I got to the bar, I ordered another round of the same drinks I got the first time.
"Damn, back already? That didn't last long." I closed my eyes and sighed at the sound of his voice and shook my head deciding to ignore him.
"Oh, come on babe, don't be like that." I felt his hand meet the middle of my back causing me to stiffen. I noticed the other male look over at me and sigh.
"JJ, c'mon man. Leave the poor girl alone." I watched as he took his friends hand off my back and get between the two of us.
"We were just having a bit of fun Harry, weren't we babe?" 'JJ' said with a wink. I shuddered and immediately took the shot that was handed to me and ordered a third. I noticed the guy, Harry, closely watching what I was doing and also took notice of JJ walking away.
"I apologize for JJ. He doesn't handle himself well when he's drinking. S'why I almost didn't bring him out with me tonight." The tall male said next to me causing me to smile at him.
"Oh, don't worry about it. I should expect behavior like that from drinking males at a pub by this point." I replied earning a chuckle from him. I watched him nod as he took a drink of whatever was in his cup. I felt smaller hands grab my arm and I immediately heard Jessica's familiar giggling.
"Tina! Let's do another shot babes!" She shouted causing me to laugh. I nodded and she ordered us a couple shots of vodka, something we almost never drink. I shook my head at the girl and only then took notice of Harry's intent stare on the drinks. He shook his head and looked at me disapprovingly which confused me. Once the shots were made I noticed there were three shots for each of us. We picked the first one up and tapped the glasses together before downing the burning liquid. I shook my head as the bitter taste entered my mouth and Jessica handed me the second one.
"Jess! Give me a second to get the first down." She rolled her eyes before waiting impatiently. I grabbed the shot and downed it quickly.
"Ready for the third?" Jess was already in a fit of giggles before handing me the shot.
"Jess, I don't..." I stopped seeing her down the shot without me. I felt sick just thinking about taking the third one but I would feel bad just wasting a good drink. I felt someone take the shot from me and I looked at the man next to me as he took the shot and put the glass on the counter in front of him. I felt myself starting to feel the effects of the shots as my mind started to get hazy.
"Hey! That was hers!" Jess said giggling grabbing my arm causing me to giggle.
"Knowing your limit is a great thing to learn and obviously you two haven't yet." Harry snapped in our direction. I smiled at him knowing I wasn't in my right mind anymore.
"You're really cute, you know that?" I commented and saw Harry roll his eyes before sighing.
"Thanks, I guess." His reply caused me to giggle and he rolled his eyes again.
"You know, if you roll your eyes to much they'll get stuck in the back of your head." I said confusing myself but it caused him to crack a smile in my direction.
"I never quite caught your name." Harry said which surprised me.
"Oh, I'm Christina!" I giggle and stumbled a bit backward causing his hand to grab my arm. Once he saw I was balanced again he released me.
"You have some soft hands." I said and leaned somewhat into him causing him to sigh and shake his head.
"Shots!" Jess said loudly before handing me one. I heard a huff next to me but I ignored it as I downed the shots that Jessica had ordered.
That was actually the last thing I remembered.
