The teacher called on me!
I studied so hard on this project I even hope of climbing Mt. Ebbot , I went up in front of the class... "I studied Mt. Ebbot and found out that it is the gate to the world of the monsters, who were sealed underground thousands of years ago" then the meanest kid in school, James, laughed and said " idiots like you actually believe that? It's just a stupid mountain!" "I put an entire month into that project-" I was interrupted by James, "Well than you wasted a month of your life!!" I was so mad, but than my friend, a kid who goes by Gray, stood up for me and said "Shut up James, Mt. Ebbot is a gateway between the monster world and the human world, and this weekend me and Steve are going to climb it and set the monsters free!" James shut his mouth after that, and the rest of the day went smoothly, but was Gray serious about climbing Mt. Ebbot? I guess we'll see.
Days later...
He was serious about climbing the mountain, so before I left home I packed myself 3 hotdogs, some leftover spaghetti, some rock candy, a flashlight, my climbing shoes, a change of clothes, and some spare batteries for my flashlight.
We climbed all the way up the mountain and saw a giant hole, the gateway between the monsters and the humans, my foot slipped and I fell down the hole, Gray tripped on a vine and fell down too.
