It's now the beginning of May and school is still the same, usual... Blah.
I actually had a date on Valentine's Day... with my bed and junk food, but it still counts. I'm an independent woman who don't need no man. Just food. Food is all that matters.

What was I talking about? Oh yeah... School... Ugh

I've warmed up a bit more to the popular group. Cream and Blaze are my favorites, while B/F/N and Amy are basically sisters.

Silver and I had become pretty good friends. We text eachother almost everyday. He's so easy to talk to, nice, sweet, has his own unique humor, and just adorable.

Did I say adorable? I meant cute. Wait, no, I didn't mean that either!! Ugh, that NEVER happed.
Hehe, anyway...

Things with Shadow have gotten better, yet worse. It's really complicated.
And I'll be in chorus for my last year of high school, which I'm still wondering how that happened. That's also kinda complicated and a long story, so we shall enter a flashback.

Flashback (February 20th)

The school announcements were playing over the speaker just like they do every morning. I wasn't really paying attention until I heard a lady start to speak.

Hello, students of Emerald High. My name is Ms. Stone and I'm the chorus teacher at this school. As you know, March is almost here. March is known as 'Music in Our School' Month and in honor of that, the school will be hosting a talent show on March 10th at 7pm. Auditions will be after-school on March 1st. Flyers are in the main office if you're interested. Have a wonderful day.

Regular announcements start once again and fade into the background. A talent show? I've always wanted to sing in one, but singing in front of many people is not a pleasant feeling for me. I just love doing it when I'm alone in my room and especially when I have the house to myself. Plus the fact I haven't sung in public in a while.

It's okay though, I'm doing the world a favor. Trust me on this one.

I sigh and shake my thoughts away. I look over at Silver to see he's already looking back at me, and kinda weirdly too. "Why are you looking at me like that? Is there something on my face?" I freak out a bit.

Silver just chuckled. "No. I saw that you were zoned out and then the talent show announcement kinda caught your attention."

"Oh, hehe. Yeah."

He chuckles again. He always does that when I act like an awkward potato, which is all the time now that I think about it. It's a really nice sound, but I don't know how to explain it.

All of a sudden, I have a hand in front of me that's way too close to my face.

"Y/N?" Silver speaks.

"Huh? What? Oh, sorry."

"I was asking if you wanted to audition with me for the talent show? We could sing a duet."

"Um, yeah I'm not sure about that. Me on stage with a ton of people watching me? No thanks I'm good, fam."

"Oh c'mon, Y/N. Please? At least think about it," He pleaded with those gold eyes of his.

"Ugh, fine. I'll think about it."

He smiles. "Good." We then just chill since the semester is almost over.
