Help me please

Anna's P.O.V.

I cried in the corner of the basement in Rodney's house. Rodney had been down here about five times. Every time he came down he ended up leaving while redoing his belt buckle. I put my torn clothes back on and took out Zack's mother's phone. I didn't have my own so she'd let me borrow hers. Rodney didn't know I had it and I quickly texted Zack Rodney's address. I climbed up the stairs to find the door at the top locked.

I started looking for any small windows. I found one and found a brick that was on the floor. I smashed the window with the brick and slid through it, ignoring as the remaining glass cut into me. Rodney came into the basement and swore at me. He grabbed my foot but I kicked his face and made my escape. I started running and saw Zack's car approaching. I waved my arms and Zack stopped just long enough for me to get in.

"Anna, what happened to your clothes? They're all ripped up." Jackie said from the backseat.

"What do you think?" I said. Zack's knuckles were white as he gripped the steering wheel.

"Please tell me he didn't do what I think he did." Zack said. I looked at him.

"Do you think I would have broken a window that was barely big enough for me to fit through if he hadn't?" I asked. Zack stiffened and got really angry.

"If I ever fuckin' see him again. I'll murder him." Zack said.

"Zack, we already have enough of death in our past we don't need anymore." Jackie said.

"Don't bring that up!" Zack said.

"She needs to know!" Jackie yelled.

"No she doesn't!" Zack yelled back, he looked back at her.

"Zack! Watch the road!" I screamed. Zack looked at the road and barely dodged running into a tree as we nearly flipped over.

We all drove in silence until we got to their house. Jackie got out right away and Zack turned to me.

"Are you okay?" Zack asked me.

"As okay as I can be after being kidnapped and sexually attacked." I said.

"Did he rape you?" Zack asked. I looked down and wiped away tears as I slowly nodded.

"How long was I gone?" I asked.

"A day." Zack said. He got out and ran to my side of the car so he could help me out. He opened the door and I was just getting out when his parents ran out.

"Anna! Thank God you're alive." Zack's mom said as she cried. "I was so worried."

Both his parents hugged me. I felt safe for the first time in my life. I was surrounded by Zack and his family. They actually seemed to care. I broke into sobs.

~that night~
Jackie's P.O.V.

I laid in bed watching Anna sleep. It figures, I take some time to focus on myself and someone I care about gets hurt. This was all my fault. If I had been there I could have kicked the creep in the balls. I would have pepper sprayed his creepy ass.

I got out of bed and went to the bathroom where I started to cry. All I ever did was cause people pain.

"Jackie what's wrong?" Anna asked. She sat down next to me and wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

"Nothing. I'm fine." I said. Anna sighed.

"Jackie, no one just cries because they're fine. Now tell me what's wrong." She said.

"I'm just worried about you." I said. I was worried about her but that wasn't half the problem.

"I'm fine okay. Now let's go back to bed." She said. I nodded and we stood up. I didn't say anything else. She fell asleep and I did eventually too. That night Ben was in my dreams.

~flash back~

"Jackie, don't worry your brother won't find out." Ben said. I sighed.

"You're right. Let's just enjoy the time we have." I said and cuddled up next to him. His arm held me close as we started the movie in his basement. Halfway through Ben leaned in and kissed me. I kissed him back and we sat there making out until the basement door opened.

"What the hell?! Are you doing with my sister?" Zack said as he caught us. I pulled away and stood up with Ben right behind me.

"Hey man. What's up?" Ben tried to act cool. Zack made fists and tried to control his temper.

"Don't 'hey man' me. You're the one making out with my little sister!" Zack said. I pulled at the edges of my black miniskirt and corset.

"Zack settle down! It's not like anything happened." I said and reached out a hand to touch his arm but he pulled away.

"Nothing happened! Nothing happened!" He screamed.

"I'm his best friend! I know what his does with his girlfriends. He got one pregnant and she had to move across the country to get away from the reputation of slut that he gave her!" Zack yelled fuming.

"Zack! It's not like I'm going to get pregnant! We didn't do anything!" I yelled back.

"Not this time! I don't know how long you've been doing this!" Zack shouted.

"Dude, she isn't lying nothing happened! She never lies to you!" Ben told Zack. Zack charged Ben and punched him. Ben tried to defend himself and the next thing I knew they were in an all out brawl. I tried to get between them. The only thing that resulted in was Zack accidentally punching me in the face.

"Ow! Shit!" I yelled and stepped back. I held my nose. Zack's eyes widened.

"Jackie. I...I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." Zack said. Ben put a hand on my back.

"Jackie are you okay?" Ben asked. I removed my hands to see blood covering them through a wall of tears.

"Dude, did you break her nose?" Ben asked Zack.

"Um... Maybe, I was trying to break yours." Zack said.

"We should take her to the hospital then shouldn't we?" Ben said. A moment later the two were leading me to Zack's car. Zack drove while Ben sat by me in the back. He'd taken off his flannel and given it to me to asorb the blood. His tight undershirt made him look pretty good. He was a jock that hung with the darker crowd. I was the little goth girl that just wanted someone to say they loved me. I guess we weren't exactly meant to be. I never got to find out because a month later he was dead.

~end of flash back~

I opened my eyes and shut off the alarm clock. I got up and went to the bathroom. I put on a pastel pink shirt with hot pink skirt and did barely any make-up.

"Hey, Jacks, you want to go to the recording studio with me tomorrow?" Dad asked me. I gave him a smile.

"I'm not sure. I was thinking of visiting Ben tomorrow." I said. Dad nodded.

"Okay, just make sure you're home for dinner." Dad said and I nodded.

"There's no way I'd want to miss Mom's meatloaf." I joked. Anna got up and dressed in all black like usual. I tried not to look at her too much because it only made me miss the dark more. I wasn't going back to the blackness though. I couldn't. It just wouldn't be the same without Ben.

"Hey, Anna. Why don't we go do something tomorrow, just you and me." Zack said during breakfast. I sighed and pushed around my pancakes. Zack seemed so happy with Anna. She seemed so happy with him. I'd had a relationship like that. Except one stupid decision ended it. The worst part was it was my fault.
