There she was, my 90 year old grandma, sitting on the old hospital bed, barely moving, barely eating, or drinking. We looked face-to-face at each other. A salty tear fell from my eye. It dropped on my Grandmas bed. She faddishly said "lift me up". I pressed the button on the side and she slowly lifted up. She said in a soft voice "Walk in the ways Of Hope". I whispered "what does that mean mama?" . She slowly leaned back and said no more. I burst into tears and said "I love you mama" and her status was a red straight line, with a long beep. Nurse Shelby said "Im So sorry dear" I ran out the room tears flying in my dark brown hair and hugging my Mom to death. She aked quietly, while stepping in the elevator, "what happened?". I screamed with tears "she's gone mother!" I started to whimper and cry. We headed out to the car. I was sitting in the car wondering what those 6 words meant. We parked the car into our driveway, i was thinking in my head what explanation is in the house.
