Tsubaki x Black Star

"IT'S ME! THE ONE AND ONLY BLACK STAR!", Black Star said while standing on top of the DWMA. 

"GET OFF OF THERE! YOU'RE GONNA BREAK IT AGAIN!", Kid screamed in panic.

All of a sudden, crack. 

"AHHHHHHH!", Kid screamed.

Black Star came crashing down. "Woo! That was quite a fall, wasn't it Tsubaki?"

I nodded my head then looked at Kid. He was crying over the broken piece of the DWMA. Liz was supporting him while Patty was laughing at him. 

"Um, Black Star. That was the third time you broke that piece. Kid is gonna seriously kill you one day if you don't watch it.", I say.

Black Star stared at me, then smiled."Don't worry, Tsubaki. No one is more powerful than me. If Kid comes close to me i'll kick his ass for the third time."

"Actually. Kid kinda defeated you all the other times you broke it."

"That was when I was a kid. I'm much more stronger now!"

I looked back at Kid. He was already fixing the broken piece."NOO! IT DOESN'T LOOK THE SAME AS IT DID LAST TIME! I PUT IT ON SIDEWAYS!", Kid yelled. He has seriously lost his mind. 

Black Star and I walked in the school. As we were walking in the halls, we heard the announcements. "Can Black Star and his partner Tsubaki please come to Lord Death's office?"

We walked to his office and Lord Death was standing there, like always.

"Hello,hello!", Lord Death said while giving us the peace sign. He is trying way to hard to be young again. 

"What did you need, Reaper?", Black Star asked. 

"You two are going on a mission. There seems to be a dangerous kishin just outside the city. You two need to capture his soul."

"All right!", Black Star screamed. 

~10 minutes later~

"I'm gonna smash his head, rip his heart out and eat it!", Black Star said while walking outside the school.

"Ew."

"Hey, Tsubaki. Do you think it would be a good idea to use Shadow Star?", Black Star asked.

"Well, we can try. But, I can't be in that mode for too long. It drains your soul."

"You're right. Besides, I might be able to destroy that idiot with just a punch of my fist!"

We walk outside Death City. We walk for a long time until we find our destination. Suddenly, the sky turns black, and Black Star smiles. "Finally! Here he comes. Transform, Tsubaki!"

I transform. As soon as I am in Black Star's hands, we are flung in the air. "What the hell?"

"The kishin is underground! He just shot us in the sky!", I replied.

We landed and Black Star got back up. He started looking around. "Where is he?"

All of a sudden, the ground starts to shake. An ugly mole-like figure shoots out of the ground. "Ew. So, you're the one i'm supposed to kill? You're disgusting! You're like a mutant human-mole!", Black Star screamed. 

The kishin doesn't say anything, instead, his nose turns into a drill and he is running after us. 

"Tsubaki! Shadow Star! I can take him out in one blow if we do this right!"

"Right!", I say while transforming.

The mole strikes Black Star before I had anytime to transform. Black Star gets shot up in the sky, and I am dropped from Black Star's tight grip. 

"Black Star!", I scream, while turning into human form and running toward Black Star.

Black Star lands on the ground with a hard hit. The mole goes back underground, and borrows away. "Black Star! Are you okay?"

I get on my knees and put Black Star's head on my lap. He was so bloody. His head has cracked open. If he didn't get taken care of soon, he would die. We were so far from Death City. I wouldn't make it back in time. Black Star, was passed out. I picked up Black Star in my arms and ran as fast as I could back to the DWMA. After 5 minutes of running, I was already worn out. I couldn't carry him anymore. We were still 15 minutes away from even reaching Death City. I sat down and started to cry. I failed him. He's dying because of me. I held Black Star's hand and put my head on his chest. His heart was still beating, but it was at an abnormal pace. All of a sudden, I heard a motorcycle. Soul? Soul and Maka come up to us. "Thank God you guys are here!", I said while wiping away my tears.

"We could hear Black Star being 'superior' all the way from DWMA. We wanted to see what was going on.", Soul said while putting Black Star on the back of his bike. 

"See you girls later!", Soul said while driving away with Black Star.

"Well, I guess we're walking back.", Maka said.

Maka and I made it back to the school. We walked in the infirmary. Black Star was already stitched up and placed in bed. "Well, i'll see you later. You can keep Black Star company.", Maka says while leaving the room.

"Thank you", I reply.

I walk over to Black Star in bed. "Not so tough, are you?"

I hold his hand again and start to cry. If only I transformed faster, he would still be okay. We would have killed the kishin. My tears land on his cheek. His eyes open. "Black Star!", I yell while hugging him.

"Tsubaki.."

"I knew you would be fine!"

"Come...here..."

I lean closer to Black Star. Black Star sits up and gives me a salty kiss. 

Black Star is still kissing me. What is he doing? He lays back down and looks at me. 

"Why?", I ask.

"You were crying over me. I know that you care about me."

I smile and kiss him back.

~3 months later~

"Here he is again, Tsubaki, Shadow Star!"

We were attacking the mole again. I transform as fast as a could. Black Star screams as he finishes the kishin in one blow. Good job, Black Star. You really are strong.
