Time Does Not Wait

"one will leave and one will stay"

One day, a guy came up to me when i was hanging with my friends, saying " i..i love you! And i promise one day you will love me too." He gave me that confident looks and he ran away. I blushed and smiled holding on to what he says, that guy was tall with wavy short hair, dark blue eyes and fair skin. 3 years have passed, that day was the last day i have seen him. I still remembered what he said back then, it was the first time someone confessed to me in public and so i wished to know him more,but lost all hope on ever seeing him again. I volunteered on helping cancer people with my friends and some others on the 5th of may 2011, there is a lot of strangers who volunteered to help too. I was telling all my highschool adventured to the people who is suffering from cancers, they all smiled. My eyes were locked on one person that day, he was very familiar. I visited all day in the hospital to get to know the people there but mostly "him". He smiled everyday eventhough with his conditions, everyday i would tell him stories and tell him all about myself. His eyes, it reminded me on someone, so i came to ask the doctor who is the guy suffering from lung cancer and when was he admitted i asked a lot of things. The one thing that made me sure it was him,the guy that confessed to me,the guy i hoped to know more was that i was told he was from the same highschool as me. I wasnt sure but i knew, because those eyes, was just like his. Day by day knowing him more made me happy, i felt very happy and yet i wished i could have met him sooner. One day, the doctor asked to see me and said, he only have a few hours to live and so he told me to cherish that few hours left to see him. I cried. I came to see him and he just smiled. I couldnt bare to see him like this. He asked me to come closer and so i did. We were silent until i said "why did you love me? That day in highschool, you came up to me and said so, you were even confident to say ill love you back eventhough that was the only day you came up to me! You didnt even told me your name." He smiled and said "we were classmates remember, eventhough you never noticed me but i sure know you, you were a shy girl but you were not a very happy girl, you smiled and laugh but you made me curious if it was a real not fake smile" he made me sat still i couldnt move but tears started pouring down my face. Then i said "you were right all along that I will love you and so i have now" and he smiled and said "i told you so" . He gave me a ring and told me it was his grandmother's, he was told to give it to someone he truly love one day. I cried even more when he said "use it when u get married one day". His heart beat stopped, i stood still and sat down on the floor holding his hand, whispering "dont leave me..." .
