Chapter 51

(Eric's POV)

"STAY OUT OF THIS, MOTHER!!" Roman yelled.

"Roman, I taught you better than this." cried Mom. "Exorcism should've worked."

"Exorcism?" I said.

"Mother, nothing can change for who I am!!!!" Roman bellowed the last part and stomped on the ground.

It started to shake, the paps dropped their cameras. I went over to Harry and grabbed my necklace. I put it around my neck. I turned to face Roman.

"Mom, you can explain everything later." I said. "Roman and I have shit to go down."

"Hey? What about me?" said Dad.

Now was not the time to deal with him. I hurled a boulder at him. Roman took the chance to tackle me. He started punching my face. I grabbed his fist and flipped him. We stood up and faced each other.

"Roman! Stop! You've gone mad!!" yelled Mom.

Roman let out a yell and a red wave of power and hit me. I stood up and rose my hands and hurled many chunks of stone from the pavement and rocketed them towards Roman. He quickly dodged them. I threw another boulder towards him, and it made him go into the halls. I ran out, and everyone followed me. Including the paps. The lockers were bent and Roman groaned as he stood up. Roman looked at me and smirked. He slowly started to fade. Then he was gone. I remembered was wearing his snake necklace.

I closed my eyes and imagined myself as a snake. Then, I saw Roman, running down the halls, looking for a way out of Red Rock. He was at he main entrance. I quickly opened my eyes and ran to the main entrance as fast as I could. I was near the entrance and I jumped and jumped in front of Roman, blocking the entrance. He stepped back.

I rose my fists behind my head with a growing yell. My hands were now glowing gold. The glowing hands hit the pavement, sending out a webwork of shimmering fractures that lace among Roman's feet, causing Roman to stumble back. My eyes were now glowing a bright gold. I stood over him. I took my hands and pulled them away from the center, the ground pulled apart. Just as the paps, Niall, Louis, Liam, Aiden, Harry, Zayn, & Mom/Lauren came up, they skidded to a stop. They stared at me. Roman fell in. I jumped in.

We went down. I had my right hand on his neck and my left one on his wrist. Roman was attempting to attack me.

"You can never defeat me!" Roman said. "No matter what, I will always be here! Stop trying! It's over!"

"THIS IS NOT THE END!!" I shouted.

I let go of his neck and I grabbed a boulder and flew up. Out of the trench, and near the ceiling. I tossed him to the ceiling, causing it to crack a little. My hands glowed again and I closed the trench. Roman came up behind me and caught me in a headlock. I struggled to get out of Roman's deathly grip. He undid the headlock and thrashed me against the wall. His hand was at the crook of my neck. It was strong. It was getting hard to get free. I struggled.

"Eric!!" Niall cried.

"No!" said Mom. "If you interfere, your brother will lose!"

Roman was pressing harder.

"It's over, Eric." Roman snarled.

My left hand was on Roman's wrist. I used my right hand to get Roman's necklace.

"No..it is NOT!!!" I shouted in Roman's face.

The earth started to shake violently. Everyone took cover. The shaking was enough for Roman to release my neck. The earth stopped and I attacked Roman. I hurled four huge boulders at him. Roman was still standing. He was smirking, till he looked down. His snake necklace was gone. He looked at me with anger. I opened my right fist, revealing the crushed snake necklace. I got ahold of it when Roman was choking me to death.

"You're done for, Roman! FOREVER!" I screamed.

I started to hit Roman with everything I had. I stopped and the dust cleared. Roman was standing for a moment. His eyes started to flicker. He fell.
