~Helbram's Perspective~

I woke up cold. I didn't know where I was. I sat up. It was quiet. I looked around. I appeared to be in a cave, but the floor was soft, dusty dirt. Large leaves and flowers surrounded me, hid me. It would have been the Fairy King's Forest, but I knew it wasn't. I knew the feeling of home, and this wasn't it. But the feeling wasn't bad. I thought for a moment. How did I get here? A harsh flashback hit me and knocked the wind from me.

"I can't kill you! You're my best friend!" Harlequin sobbed. It was the battle over Liones, the Holy Knights verses Hendrickson and his demonic ways.

"Then I'll stop being your friend!" I yelled. My helmet was over my eyes and I could feel the blood dripping down from them. Blood ran out of the corners of my mouth too.

I snapped back to reality and choked up blood onto the floor. I held my sides weakly and looked at myself. Somehow I had changed into clean clothes. But how was I alive? I clearly remembered Harlequin killing me. Again. And then again. I got off the ground. I floated, like normal. I fluttered out the little cave and looked around. It was all forest, with trees that loomed above my head.

"Harlequin..." I said softly. How do I get to Harlequin? I thought about it. He would most likely be off with the Seven Deadly Shits- I mean Sins, oops. I couldn't go to them. I remembered seeing Harlequin with the giant girl in Liones and my jealousy burned like hot coals.

"He's mine." I growled under my breath as I flew through the forest. How else could I get to Harlequin? What connections did I have? The Holy Knights? No, they thought of me as the enemy. The only Sin I had a connection to was Harlequin himself.

"Oslo!" I suddenly realized. Harlequin's black hound. He could be summoned by any fairy that knew how. And, because I hung out with Harlequin so much when I was still alive, I did know. And I was 90% sure Oslo wouldn't eat me. It was worth a shot. I put two fingers in my mouth and whistled as loud as I could, then yelled, "OSLO!!!"

~Harlequin's Perspective~

I had been sitting outside the tavern on my Chastiefol, Oslo floating beside me. The Captain was inside, serving all sorts of customers from Liones. I didn't like crowds much though, so I stayed outside in the back. Ban was cooking. Diane and Elizabeth no doubt were helping serve food. Gowther was probably trying to help, while Merlin was off doing who-knows-what. The bushes rustled by me and I looked up.

"Oh, Merlin. What are you doing here?" I asked. Merlin had stepped out of the bushes.

"I was just taking a walk. Captain was going to try to make me serve food." She replied. The last time Captain had done that to her, she walked out within the first two minutes. Easy come easy go. The Captain had said.

"You better get going then, if he sees you he'll just try doing it again." I warned, a little humor in my voice.

"I'd like to see him try." She snorted. "Anyway, King, I wanted to talk to you."

"Oh yeah? What about?" I asked. I could feel my nerves start to blow up. What did she want? What did I do? What is she going to test on me? All sorts of dark thoughts filled my head until she cut them off.

"While I was walking, I thought I saw something. I felt it too. A dark magic power, but then the darkness faded from it and it felt something like your power."

"Another fairy?" I wondered aloud. "I thought they were mostly dead though."

"So did everybody else. And I'm sure you recall the war fought between Hendrickson and the New Generation? The fight with your fairy friend, Helbram?"
