I had high hopes walking down the hall towards English, it had been a few hours since Jenna and It's little spat by my locker this morning. Stepping over the thresh hold and into the classroom my positive thoughts were confirmed with a warm and inviting smile from Jenna herself. I sighed in relief and sat down next to her.
"I took your advice and stood up to my whore of a sister in Government," I whispered half way through the lesson.
Jenna turned her head to look at me " You did," she restated her voice monotone and her face expressionless. I waited a few seconds letting what I said sink in so I could have her real response. " No you did not!" She almost yelled earning us many glares and the teacher to pause the lesson to speak to us.
"Ms.Geldom, Ms.Herking is there something that you would like to share with the class?"
While I shook my head trying to reduce the amount of unneeded attention, Jenna began to speak quite loudly so that everyone in the room could hear her. "Yes actually, their is. My very best friend Samantha Geldom," by now everyone in the room had there eyes on me, "is moving up in the world and taking a stand against her ' oh so powerful' sister."
" You don't really need to go on," I whispered while tugging on her arm trying to get her to sit down and shut up.
" Yes I really do, you did something I'm proud of and is worth sharing with other people," Jenna replied.
" Jenna, sit down now," I told her sternly.
"Fine, whatever," she had finally sat down, "I was just trying to show people you're not so easy to push around anymore, but if that's not what you want then whatever."
" I know, and I appreciate the gesture but, now people are going to take it as a challenge, you know and think ' Oh well if that little freak stood up to her sister I better show her who's boss before she gets to mighty.' Do you see what I mean now?" I asked.
Jenna looked at me in complete and utter shock before opening her mouth, " Oh my god Sammi, I am so sorry I never though about it like that, hold on I'll fix it," Jenna then stood back up and began once again to call attention to us and, yell to the class. "I was just kidding before Samantha is still all weak and stuff so, uh no challenge here."
Oh my god, I'm going to die today. I'm starting to think she's either my real friend and, just super stupid when panicked or, she wants to hurt me just like most other people. What am I going to do? Everybody in this room is going to tell there friends what happened and then they are all going to kill me. They are going to take turns picking me apart, making sure I feel every ounce of the physical and emotional pain they inflict upon me.
" Stop, just," I took a deep breath, and slowly let it out, " just stop."
I push up out of my seat walk quickly towards to door.
"And just where do you think you're going?" my teacher demanded and , quite rudely if you ask me.
"Anywhere but here!" I snapped at her before slamming the door.
