Your POV
I was just walking back from my hidden spot in the park and successfully managed to sneak back into the abandoned warehouse where I had been staying for a few months. My torn clothes clung to my bones because I was so thin and my dull blonde hair and tired grey eyes gave away the look of weakness.
I had wrapped myself in my thin blanket and sat beside a make shift fire that I had craftily made to stop myself from dying from the cold (Edit changed from Dying to death). After what seemed like forever I heard a scream, it seemed to be from a boy. I jolted up and in that motion the noise of the scaffolding collapsing rung out and it fell on top of me crushing my chest. I looked weakly at the metal piercing my lungs, I quickly passed out seeing a jumping figure above disappearing into the night.

My vision was black but I heard doctors talking about an emergency lung and heart transplant. I tried to speak and move but nothing, nothing happened and next thing my senses dulled again.
I awoke to noises of beeping monitors and the feeling of needles in my arms and what seemed to be tubes feeding oxygen into my lungs through my nose. I fluttered but squinted my eyes to the white room. I soon realised I was in the hospital and a nurse had seen me, "You are finally awake, how are you feeling?". My hoarse voice croaked as I tried to speak and she explained to me what had happened. I was shocked by how I survived and from what I heard they were as well.
"Hey, you must be Alia, I am Kaneki I was the other person in the same accident." His smile was soft as he sat next to my bed. He looks like he had already been discharged. "Y... You were?" he simply nodded and I looked slightly scared because his expression went from soft to serious. "We are different now, We. Are. Ghouls". My eyes widened at this, how could he make such an accusation, I sat up and looked at the untouched food and gulped.
He explained everything and practically convinced the doctors to discharge me. I was duper nervous and I was wondering where he was going to take me.
After what seemed forever we ended up outside what seemed to be a coffee shop. "We are here", his monotonous voice rung out and we made our way indoors, it was night so technically the shop was closed and by the name I gathered it was called 'Antique' (An-Tie-Coo). I sat down at a table and curled up on a chair that was right by the radiator as the boy who I recalled was Kaneki went out back.
I sat there waiting for around 10 minutes when Kaneki, a purple haired girl and an old man emerged. "Hm, you must be (y/n", I simply nodded and they sat on the opposite side of me. They all explained how Kaneki made a quick recovery and because of my body state that was why I took much longer to heal up. I got their names and Touka was nice to me considering. They offered me a place to stay and I was happy for the first time in forever.
The next day I was awoken by the noise of a man who seemed to speaking french. I waddled down to the cafê where I saw a man with purple hair and eyes with a red suit on. I laughed at the way he was posed, his arms outstretched like an eagle and everyone looked at me. "Aww, has the mademoiselle got a strong nerve to laugh at me", an evil tone rung out as I heard a sniffing sound and screamed jumping away seeing the man.
"I am Shuu Tsukiyama", I glared at him the kicked him in the face but misjudged my strength and sent him flying, I sniggered and heard slight laughs around me. He got up and sneered at me. "Oui, oui, I understand it's my cue to leave. Au revoir my lovely butterfly." He gestured to me and it made me want to vomit.
Hey guys. I know but my GCSEs are starting next week and I just needed something to take the stress off. So I hope this is good. Thank you, and shout outs to midge__ and Kxrstie. See ya my butterflies.
