Prologue:

❄️

"Jack? Ja-ack. Jack?" Elsa was calling. She hadn't seen him in weeks. She was beginning to worry. She heard footsteps coming up the stairs to her room. It was her Mama and Papa. She immediately jumped under the covers of her bed, and rested her head on her pillow. She closed her eyes tight. The queen and king of Arendelle walked into Elsa's eerie looking room, with moonlight glowing around it.

"Oh Elsa.. What are we going to do with her?" The queen said frightfully. Elsa squeezed her eyes even tighter. The king placed a hand on the queen's shoulder.

"Don't worry, she's learning to control it quite well now. You have nothing to fear." The king said reassuringly.

All because of Jack.. Elsa thought.

"I don't feel we should pressure a seven year old girl, no, our daughter, to be alone, frightened, and to deal with this on her own!" Elsa's mother almost yelled.

"Don't worry, she'll be fine. Now come, she needs her sleep." The king guided the queen out of the room. Elsa shot up. She looked out the window. A cold breeze filled the room. Elsa smiled. Jack was coming! But instead of the white haired guardian, a letter came, and lay on Elsa's bed. She quickly opened up the letter and realized it was from the one and only, Jack Frost. She read,

"My darling Elsa,

I am so sorry I couldn't come tonight. Since I have become a Guardian, I cannot visit you anymore. I cannot give any child special attention. But I will always remember you as the girl in the locked-up room.

Love,

Jack Frost"

Tears fell silently down Elsa's cheeks. No more nightly visits? No more snowball fights? No more snowy lessons? Elsa sobbed into her pillow, as quiet as she could, because no one would know her sympathy for that cold, cold, guardian.

❄️

As Pitch watched Elsa cry and cry, he felt no sympathy. In fact, he never felt sympathy anyways. His plan was going along perfectly. Make that child not believe in Jack Frost, make her a pawn of fear. Now, now he would finally get revenge on the Guardians of Hope, Wonder, Dreams, Memory, and Fun. You know what the say, "The most dangerous evil has infinite subtlety and patience."

BEWARE: IT IS RISING
