Letting Go

Troy woke up early. He hadn't slept well. He knew their wasn't much point in going back to bed. He decided to go through all the boxes on his floor. He opened a box, then dumped it's contents. He sat there a moment, trying to figure out the fastest way to organize. He decided to make three piles: keep, donate, & throw out. He opened the rest of his boxes, & added stuff to each pile. He decided to organize his clothing next, so he grabbed his suitcases. He knew he wanted to get rid of most of his clothing. It was mostly American brands,...He didn't want to stick out like a sore thumb. Troy felt if he truly wanted a fresh start, he'd have to change things up! Troy thought about his hair, clothing, & shoes. He desperately needed to go shopping. Troy wanted to go by himself, but knew his parents would lose it. London is a big city, that will take some time getting used to. Troy decided to ask his dad to take him, after his business meetings tomorrow. It would be great bonding experience. They also haven't hung out just the two of them in a long time. Troy got along better with his dad. His dad was a lot like Troy when he was younger. After Troy had finished cleaning his room, he remembered the note. He went to ask his dad for a ladder. He found his parents in the lounge, setting up furniture. Troy said good morning & asked them how they slept. They both said they slept horribly. The time difference sucks. Troy told them he had had the same experience. Troy asked his dad where the ladder was. Troy's dad asked why he needed a ladder. Troy told him there was a piece of paper stuck to the ceiling in his room. He thinks one of the old tenants left it there. His dad gave him a weird look, but told him the ladder was in the closet. Troy left to grab the ladder. Once Troy had the ladder, he brought it to his room. Troy couldn't wait to open the note. Troy placed the ladder in the middle of the room, and climbed up. He pulled the note gently off the ceiling. As Troy got off the ladder, a picture fell from the note. Troy picked it up & looked at it. It was a picture of two men standing with storm troopers. Troy flipped the picture over, & there was a small message that red: Daniel & Phil at the Star Wars Force Awakens Premier. Troy guessed that Daniel & Phil were the old tenants. They seemed really cool & nice. Troy wondered if they were dating. He had to admit they'd make a really cute couple. They seemed so happy together. He hopes to have a realtionship like theirs someday. Troy went to sit on his bed. He was excited to read the note that Daniel & Phil left. He opened the note, & started reading. Phil had written the note, Dan was too busy last minute packing to help. He wrote a lot about the apartment & all the little tips & tricks you should know to keep it from falling apart. He also talked about their You-Tube careers. Troy had never heard of You-Tube, so he couldn't wait to check out their channels. Phil ended the note by saying he hopes the apartment treats us well, & he hopes we make many memories that we'll remember always. Troy sat & thought about Daniel & Phil. He wondered about all the memories they made in this house. Troy felt this place has seen a lot of interesting things. Troy went to show his parents the note. They read it, then laughed. Phil seems like quite the character. Troy then showed his parents the picture. They asked Troy if he has done any research on them? Troy says all he knows is their You-Tubers, & he's going to try to find their channels tonight. Troy couldn't wait to watch their videos. He sensed they were going to be good.
