Chapter 8

Alexis's POV

I walked with Drew to my house. He wanted to see my parents again. I should be upset with him still but it happened 4 years ago. I need to let my feelings for him go and focus on my relationship with Jordan.

Who am I trying to fool? I still have strong feelings for Drew since I first saw him in the class. My feelings for him washed other me like it was raining on me. I love him and I never stopped.

My relationship with Jordan is good and all but I don't have the same feelings I have for Drew. I have to break up with Jordan. I don't want to lead him on but maybe I can make Drew jealous. No no no no no no!Ahhh!Alexis what are you thinking!? You can't just do that and plus Drew already asked out Brittany and of course she said yes.

I'm so stupid. Why would Drew want to go out with me anyways? Brittany is so beautiful. Her perfect blonde hair, tan skin and perfect nails all the time. The thing is that she could stop wearing clothes that are made for 4 year olds and lose the mask that she calls makeup. Also her personality sucks.

"So you changed a bit Alexis" He commented, making me lose my thoughts.

"Yeah, I guess" Thinking of me 4 years ago with those hideous clothes.

I heard him chuckle.

"You guess? You really changed Alexis but you were always beautiful 4 years ago. Now I think you're still beautiful but just more. Like you're gorgeous!!" He smiled at me.

"Well I just wanted to change up my look." I shrugged. "Here's my house. Same as ever" I giggled.

He smiled at me and followed me into my house. I closed my door and slipped off my shoes.

"Mom?"

"In the kitchen!" I heard my mom yell.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him into the kitchen. I hope my mom remembers him. We reached the kitchen to find my mom baking cookies and making dinner. I licked my lips wanting to have one of her delicious cookies. She looked up from the stove and her eyes lit up.

"Drew? Is that you?" She asked surprised.

"Hi Mrs. Marie" He said with a little wave.

She came around the kitchen and hugged him while he let go of my hand to hug back my mom. They pulled away and he grabbed my hand again. I looked at him confused and he just smiled. I turned away so he wouldn't see my blush. Can't blame me for still having feelings for him.

"I'm glad you're back Drew! You can eat some cookies then do whatever you want" My mom told us.

I turned to face Drew.

"You can go ahead in the living room, I'll get the cookies" I told him.

He nodded and let go of my hand and got my bag to bring in the living room. I grabbed a plate from the cabinet and piled it with cookies for me and Drew.

"Are you and Drew a thing?" She whispered to me so Drew wouldn't hear.

"No mom. He wouldn't go out with me remember and plus he's with Brittany" I told her sadly.

"Really!! With that girl!"

I nodded and walked to the fridge to get milk. I poured in the milk into 2 cups and placed in on a tray.

"Yeah I know but Brittany is beautiful mom. Even though she has a lot of makeup, I can't compete with her beauty." I told her before making my way into the living room.

I know I will never be as beautiful as the girls at my school.
