Chapter 5
Luke~
I am swept away by the wall of water. I hold Heathers hand. She screams as she slips from my grasp. The rolling tide swallows me and I am underwater too long. Coughing as I come up I scan the area for my twin. No sign of her. I yell her name. My throat hurts from yelling after what feels like hours. A little girl approaches. Kristi? It can't be. She's too small. "Kristi!" I croak.
"LUKE!" she yells. She treads water and I wade over to her. "I have never been so happy to see you! No offense." Kristi says. I don't reply. I am winded. "Don't ditch me." Says the little girl.
"I won't."
