Hi, my name's Brianna, but everyone calls me Bri. I am 14 years old and in my fourth year at Hogwarts. I am in Gryffindor, not Slytherin like my father, and I did get grounded for 2 months for it but I can't control where I could go. I have 9 classes; Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, History of Magic, Defense against the dark arts, Astronomy, Herbology, Divination, and Care of Magical Creatures. My friend Hermione is amazing in all of these classes, she even tutors me in Potions. Ron and Harry are also my best friends. Ron is a Weasley and has twin older brothers, Fred and George, a little sister, Ginny, and three more older brothers he doesn't really talk about named Bill, Percy, and Charlie. Harry is an only child, but he has a story. Harry Potter is the chosen one, he is called this because Lord Voldemort killed his parents, but when he tried to kill Harry he couldn't but he left a scar on Harry's forehead. On my first day of school I had nowhere to go so I ended up buying a chocolate frog and walking down the aisle looking for an empty compartment. When I found one I was about to open the door when a blonde boy shouted in my direction,
"YOU!" I looked in the voice's direction and I pointed to myself and tilted my head
"Me?" he nodded.
"Yeah you, what's your name?" I looked past me.
"Um, Bri?" he nodded again,
"Cute name," He held out his hand and I shook it,
"Malfoy," he spoke,
"What?" He smiled,
"Draco, Draco Malfoy," I nodded. I didn't like the way he was looking at me. That was when a boy with messy black hair pulled me into a compartment.
"Hello," a burnett said, and smiled.
"Uh...hi?" she smiled warmly, the redhead next to her simply nodded and looked at my hand which held the chocolate frog. The people on this train were really freaking me out.
"Sorry about that, I didn't want you talking to Malfoy. He's an evil boy I tell you. Don't go near him".
That's how I met the Golden Trio, and learned about Draco Malfoy. My father never let me speak to strangers, or even leave the house really. I always thought it was a dangerous world out there, but really it was just a world full of people trying to make friends, and just get through life happily. My father is Severus Snape, or Professor Snape as everyone calls him. I am failing his class, out of all my classes it's his, so I have to have Hermione help me. I am too embarrassed to ask my father for help because he might find out I am not paying attention. Everyday in Potions I see my father teach and all I think of is my mother. I lost my mother when I was an infant. My father always told me she died while giving birth to me. But the last time I asked him, he said she said when I was a baby not during birth. I was confused at first until I saw what he does when he lies. When my father teaches he sometimes lies. I figured out that when he scrunches his nose that he is thinking of a lie. I thought back to when I asked him about my mother he scrunched his nose. He was lying, anywho that's a short summary of what's going on in my life.

Today Harry and I were walking from Transfiguration when we heard a loud clanging sound coming from the classroom next to us.
"Should we check it out?" I shook my head afraid of what could be happening. Harry decided we should go in the room anyways to see empty bottles and potions spilled everywhere. I glanced to the vandalizer holding a bottle
"Um," He sprinted out of the room. I didn't recognize who it was but decided to ignore him and I grabbed Harry's hand pulling him out of the room.
"I never thought I'd say this but can we just go to class?" He nodded his head and I let go of his hand.
Knowing our luck though, my father stepped into the doorway, Harry cursed under his breath but I heard him. My father looked at me then at the room, it was completely trashed,
