When you're on your period

You were at home laying in bed with your arm over your face. Chocolate bar wrappers and tissues were piled up next to you on your nightstand, along with pain medicine on the floor.
It was the time of the month and boy was it bad. You were having really bad cramps, headaches, and backaches. Your moods have been flying up and down, all around yet too. Lately, you've been ignoring everyone's calls, texts, knocks on the door, and everything all together. You weren't mad at anyone, well, not mad, but definitely grouchy. You wanted to be alone, or so you thought.

You heard your phone go off again, Raphael texted you about five times asking if you were ok. You haven't talked to him in two days because of your wonderful 'friend.'

You growl lightly to yourself as you sit up, slouching over to hold your stomach. "Damn cramps." You mumble, squeezing your eyes shut.

"(Y/n)?" You opened your eyes back up seeing Raphael stand outside of your opened window.

A smile grew on your face as you motioned him towards you.
"Why haven't you answered any of my calls? I was worried." He asks, pulling you into a hug.

You sigh, "Sorry, babe. I've just been dealing with my 'friend' lately."

    He raises an 'eyebrow,' sitting down next to you on the couch. "Your friend?"

    "Yes, 'my friend.'"

    He started turning his gaze to the room, eyeing it suspiciously. He noticed all the candy wrappers and tissues next to you, on the floor. A pile of chick-flick movies and romance movies were stacked up next to the tv. He finally understood.

     "Is it that time?" He asked. "That time where females...ya- know.."

     You nod and lay back down on your pillow. "Yep! The wonderful period came to visit me again."
    A loud sigh escaped your mouth as you laid your hands on your lower belly. Cramps were coming back.

     "Son of a bi-" You closed your eyes shut as you reach for the pain killers, but you couldn't find them. "Where the hell are they?!"

      You open your eyes seeing Raph standing in front of you, holding a jug of ice cream, ibuprofen, and a blanket in his arms.

        "Here ya go. I can't stand seeing you in pain anymore, so I looked up what to do while you were moaning and groaning over there." He smiled and laid the blanket on you, covering it up. He scoops some ice cream in a bowl for himself, then hands you the rest along with the pain medicine.

       "Thank you so much." You say, bending over to kiss him on the cheek.

      He nodded and turned on the tv while you lay your head on his lap, eating some ice cream.

        He looked down at you and smiled, brushing the hair out of your face. "Just relax now, princess. I'll take care of ya."

       With that, you slowly started falling asleep with a jug of ice cream in your hands.
