> Carter POV <

I helped her in the water and she held my hand tight.

Ok wait for like 15 minutes and well check the buckets , he said.

Ok , so what are we suppose to do now ? , she asked me putting her hand on her hips.

I dunno , lets play in the water , we got an hour , I said.

Ok , she said and she plunged her arms into the water and cupped them and brought them up and I see her holding shells.

Woah , I said.

I could say the same , she said.

I picked out the shells and cleaned then and put them on the clean rock.

I walked back into the water and stood by her.

She plunged her hands again and she kept getting rocks.

Here , I said as I cupped my hands under hers and gripped them and brought them under the water and brought them up revealing beautiful shells in her hands.

Wow , she said.

I could say the same about you , I said.

What ? , she asked looking up at me.

Ummm erm I could say the same bout shoes ... , I said.

Yeah shoes , I said.

I'm so stupid , I mentally said.

What does shoes ands seashells have to do with anything ? , she asked handing the shells over to me.

They both start with a letter S ? , I said unsurely.

True , she said facing away from me.

Phew that was a close one , I mentally thought.

Hey lets check on the buckets , I said.

Sure , she said.

~ Nallie POV~

Did he really say that , I thought looking away from Carter.

Hey lets check on the buckets , he said.

Sure , I said .

He climbed onto the tree and brought the buckets up slowy .

Come closer to the tree , he said .

I walked out of the water and stood near the tree and he dropped the buckets into my arms .

Hey you coulda killed the fishys ! , I said .

Well I didn't , he said hopping off the tree with the bucket snugged against his chest .

I looked in my bucket and I saw 2 baby white and orange koi fishes ! .

Omg koi fishes ! , I said .

You got koi fishes , I got 1 daddy black and white koi fish , he said showing me the bucket .

I looked and saw a koi fish 5x bigger than one of my baby ones .

Haha here , he said switching buckets with me .

What ? , I asked him .

Haha your face turned into a frown when you saw my bucket , he said .

No I didn't , I said .

Haha yes you did , he said chuckling .

Ok fine you win this round , I said .

Hahah yay ! Lets put these fishes in the water fountain , he said walking off .

Wrong way ! , I shouted .

I knew that !, he said walking the other way .

I stood there with my right arm dangling by the side while holding the bucket handle with my left arm on my hip .

He came back with a red face .

Ummmmm I kinda can't find they way back .... , he said .

Yeah , I wasn't surprised , I said getting my tote and shoes walking off with the bucket . I heard him scrambling to get his things and chased after me .

Wut ... how did you find your way back !? , its like a maze ! , he said went we got there .

For you , you dumbsack , I said putting my thing on the bench .

Call me dumbsack one more time .... , he said .

Dumbsack , I said .

He put his bucket down and I put mine down .

He ran straight at me but I wasn't scare .

He ran by so fast and picked me up and flopped me over his shoulder .

Hey put me down ! , I said punching his back .

That's not going to do anything princess , he said .

Well who's my prince , I said as I stopped punching him and let my arms dangle .

Me... , I heard faintly .

W hat ? , I asked.

What ? , he asked.

I asked who's my prince and you said quietly me , I said.

No um I said -

Ahaha it's ok , I said and I wiggled myself out of his grip on me.

He paused for a few seconds.

Ok let's put the fishes in the water , he said.

I studied him carefully.

He held the bucket and dropped it in the water gently with still the fish in it , his abs 😍 .... , when he belded his arms some of his muscles popped up,he then scratched the back if his head.

Nallie ? , he asked

Sorry what ? , I asked.

You were in a daze for like 3 minutes , he said.

Oh sorry , I said and walked past him and tried putting the bucket in the water.

I suddenly felt a body behind me and two arms , one on each arm grasping my wrist , I turn and I see Carter.

Gently , he said hovering over me and held my hands and slowly dropped the bucket in the water.

Thanks , I said trying not to break eye contact , but I failed and looked away at the water.

So um what do we do now , he asked.

Um you can let go of me ? , I said unsurely.

He realized what he was doing and quickly let go of me

Sorry , he said shyly.

It's ok , I said.

So um uh um , how much more time do we have ? , he asked.

Ummm bout 15 minutes which gives us time to change , I lied

Turn , I said.

He turned and I quickly changed back into my uniform
