Wendy's POV

"First day of school." Well, not really.

The girls and I were given a challenge by a KBS variety show where we see and feel the USA high school experience. I've already experienced it, though. It's hectic. It's scary at times. It's also fun, however. We'll be attending John Marshall High School in Los Angeles, California. I can't wait to see how my girls feel about it.

The van we were in pulled up to the front of the school. I was a bit nervous. First day of school is always nerve racking (even if you're not really going to school). Yeri and Joy jumped out of the van with their backpacks and everything. They were excited to "start" high school again. Seulgi, Irene, and I were right behind them. They really are a satanic duo. Possessed maybe.

My thoughts are hopefully I can make friends and get along with the other students. A lot of the students here look older than their age. Our manager said we will be enrolled as Sophomores (10th graders). 10th grade is easy anyways.

Walking on the steps and having the other students stare cuz of the massive security was more nerve racking. It's not every beginning of the school year where 5 new students walk in with security. Luckily, the security won't be attending our classes with us.

I say I'm nervous, but I'm also quite excited. I think high school was fun and It will be again. Who attended high school twice?

Red Velvet.

Walking through the halls of the school was like walking through a stadium hall. We were promised a tour of the school before we get our class schedules.

Our tour guide (one of the counselors), walked us outside first. While walking, we noticed how the students are all Bunched up in their own little groups. Groups with their very own territory.

"I don't know how, but this school has apparently been divided into 'cliques'. You see them everywhere. Each clique has a leader and the leader knows every other clique leader." The counselor explained.

Okay then.

Passing by the volleyball courts, there was a clique resting by some storage sheds and the bike rack cage. I stared at this clique while walking passed them. I don't know why. Something in my mind told me to. I saw who I could already tell was the clique leader. Time stopped, but only because she saw me too. We made eye contact for a good 10 seconds. I knew she was the clique leader because she was playing cards with her members, and she was in the middle. She smiled at me, and I bowed my head a little to show respect and to say hello.

Irene nudged me in the shoulder.
"What were you looking at?" she asked.

I had to say it.

"That clique. Counselor!" I called.

"Yes?"

"Do you happen to know that clique?" I slowly pointed at them.

"Ah, yes." The counselor sounded like he was gonna go into full on story mode.

"That is the school's most well known clique. They're called 'Dropkick'. You know why? Because the leader, Jamie Johnson, can do a dropkick really well and she taught her friends aka her fellow clique members how to do that as well. The dropkick is their way of self defense. Apparently, there's nothing we can do about that."

Jamie Johnson. Has a nice ring to it. Her name is just as pretty as her face. I wanna know this Jamie Johnson.

I turned back to the Dropkick clique and Jamie was still staring at me, smiling.

I wanna know you, Jamie Johnson.

Yeri's POV

"Counselor, do they serve fried chicken here for lunch?"

"Yes."

Joy's POV

Oh thank the Lord. I would've burned this place down if they didn't. On the first day.

Seulgi's POV

Ooh, I love that girl's backpack with the bears on it.

Irene's POV

I wonder if this school sells Downy packets.
