My name is Silver Moon. It is now the year 5713, on June 6th.
I am 13 years old, today.
I am also on the run. Starting today.
From who?
Just the GOE. The Governmental Office of Earth.
Let me tell you something. The world is now in black and white. People everywhere are split in two. Actually, people are now controlled by the government. The only time people are free are when they are in their white side, their left side. But this is while they are asleep. So basically, only the governmental officals are free. Those privileged people of the GOE.
But every once in awhile, there is a Grey. Someone who has escaped this system. The GOE almost always catches the Grey before they cause trouble, and contains them for the rest of their lives in a special facility usually reserved for the mentally insane.
But not this time.
I'm the new Grey, and I want everyone to see what's happening. Before now, when I was growing up, I was on the streets, an orphan. I was too much of a nobody for people to notice me, let alone find out I was the Grey.
But now, I'm a somebody.
And I'm not sure I like it.
But I'm gonna use that 'somebody' status to cry out to the whole world.
And wake them from their dreams.
