Hero's Death Anniversary

THIRD PERSON's POV

The Sun is shining bright and happy above the skies of Pallet Town in the Kanto Region. Some people are talking excitedly inside Professor Samuel Oak's Luxurious Mansion while eating their lunches and seemingly getting ready to go somewhere together, all of them wearing black suits and black dresses except for one.

A honey-blonde haired beauty is having her worst nightmare as she dreams about the event that unfolded her group of friends and took one of them six feet below the ground.

SERENA's POV

"Guys! Come on! Ash is going against Giovanni himself!" I yelled to my friends as we're battling all the grunts of Team Rocket.

"Go!" yelled Paul. "Bring Gary and Dawn with you! We'll take care of here," Clemont added.

"Let's Go, Serena!" yelled Gary as him and Dawn ran to where Ash was.

We were running as fast as we can while battling grunts along the way when we heard shouting. "Sorry Ash, but this thing will not break unless it explodes and the only way for no one to be harmed, except us, is to send us both high to the sky!" A voice, Giovanni's I think, exclaimed...

NO ASH!

I saw Ash took a pokeball from his belt and out came a red-colored lizard with wings. He hopped on the back of the creature and commanded it to take Giovanni up in the sky as much as possible. 

"ASHHHH!" I yelled but it seems he didn't heard it. I was going to run to where he is but then...

"Come on, Charizard! Pikachu! This will be our last stand!" 

No...

"CHAARRR!" 

Ash Please!

"PIKAAA!"

I run as fast as I can but I was too late and Ash already carried Giovanni to the sky.

'knock'

'Knock'

'KNOCK' 'KABOOM'

"NOOOOOOO!"

What was that? Another dream of that day? I asked myself only to feel my cheeks wet. I didn't even realized that I was already crying.

"Hey Serena! What was that?!" I heard the voice of my friend, Shauna, from behind the door of my room. I made her worry again. I sighed.

I got up from my bed and opened the door only to see a black-dressed Shauna with a worried expression staring at me face-to-face "You okay? Anything wrong? Are you crying?" She always has so many questions.

I giggled "Yes, I'm okay I just had a dream about Ash and yeah always brings me to tears when I think about him," my smile then turned to a frown which didn't went unnoticed by my brunette friend.

"Well, go and get yourself dressed already. Today's his death anniversary after all and he'll be honored as a hero. And.. also we need to celebrate with him everyone's success! He'll be overjoyed watching us from above. You know it more than I do," Shauna exclaimed.

"Yeah..." I responded. My smile came back. I grabbed my towel and went to the bathroom. Before I went inside I told Shauna to wait for me where she said yes.

"I didn't think it could be true, Let alone that it would be you..." I sang while sprinkling my naked body with water from the shower. 

"Sere?" I heard Shauna said. "30 minutes had passed so please hurry up," she added.
