Chapter Twenty-Four

*Liv's P.O.V*
I was in a car. With Mikey next to me, giggling and chatting having the best time. Traffic lights emerged into the distance. Red light. We stopped. We looked at each other, in the moment leaning in when suddenly there was a crash.

I shot up heavily breathing from the nightmare of the crash. I looked next to me watching as Mikey slowly woke up. "Baby what's wrong?" He said holding me from behind. I sighed allaying next to him putting my head on his chest. "Nothing. It'll be okay." He nodded and we both closed our eyes falling asleep.

The morning came and today was the day I went to the hospital for my check up. I could either be told I'm fully healed or that I need my wheelchair for longer so I was really nervous. Mikey agreed to come with me and so did Sophie so after having breakfast Mikey went and got changed and I waited downstairs for sophie as I was already ready. I sat on the sofa and turned the tv on watching the news when I heard a knock at the door. "ITS OPEN!" I shouted and looked as Sophie walked in smiling and closing the door behind her. "Hey liv" she said smiling and sitting next to me. "Hey Soph" I smiled back. We chatted for a little while whilst waiting for Mikey to get ready before he finally came down. We walked out and got into his car and off he drove.

When we reached the hospital we went in to see it wasn't too busy. "I'll go book you in baby" Mikey said smiling and pecking my lips before leaving to the desk. I nodded and found some seats sitting next to sophie. Mikey came back over and took a seat the opposite side to me taking my hand and holding it. I held it back smiling and we all chatted having a laugh whilst waiting for my name to be called. I looked up at the door everytime a nurse or doctor came through and none of them called my name. I sighed hoping that my name would be called so it could all be over and done with. "Liv Jones?" I looked and a nurse was stood with a clipboard smiling and looking for me. I stood up and Mikey and sophie stood up behind me following me into the room. I sat on the bed, sophie on the chair and Mikey stood up. "How have you been Liv?" The nurse said typing. "Good thank you." I replied. "That's good. Could you just have a walk around the room for me?" I nodded and walked around the room as she examined me and then told me to take a seat. "Your walking is amazing and you've healed really quick! I'm happy to take away the wheelchair and just give you some medication for any pain if your happy with that?" She looked at me smiling. I grinned and nodded before looking at Mikey and sophie and then smiling too.

She prescribed me with the tablets and we said goodbye then walked out the hospital and got Into Mikeys car. I was honesty so happy that I was finally walking again and didnt need the wheelchair with me. Mikey drove and me and sophie chatted in the back. "Celebratory Starbucks?" Mikey questioned us from in the front. We both said yes at the same time and chuckled. We looked out the window as we went through the Starbucks drive in. Mikey had a mocha like me and sophie had a skinny late. Once picking up the drinks we drove back to Sophie's dropping her off. "Thank you for coming ." I said smiling. "Anytime" she smiled hugging me then hugging Mikey and going back inside to Derek. "Hey Liv?" Mikey asked. I nodded smiling. "Let's go watch beauty and the beast in the cinema, just me and you." I nodded. "I'd like that." I smiled and he drove to the cinema.

We pulled up on the car park and climbed out. Mikey came over to me and took my hand and I held it smiling. We walked inside and straight over to the ticket desk, ordering 2 tickets to see Beauty and the Beast. I was so exited to see it as I've heard so much about it and wanted to watch it for ages! Once given the tickets, we walked to the food part and got some popcorn and large drinks to take inside with us. It was quite quiet for some reason in the cinema today which was actually really nice. We headed to the screen and sat near the back as they were the best seats putting our drinks in the holes in the chairs and getting comfy. The movie started and I watched intrigued by it. It caught my attention the minute it started. The whole film and set up was honestly amazing. Well worth the money spent to see it!

Once finished we left and climbed back into mikeys car heading back to our house. As we got in Amelia was back from visiting Rory and she had fallen asleep on the sofa. We both chuckled silently placing a blanket over her then heading upstairs to go to sleep ourselves. I changed into my pjs and climbed into bed watching Mikey take his clothes off and climbing in next to me. I placed my head onto his chest and cuddled up to him. He smiled kissing my head and we bkth fell asleep
