It was another ordinary day in California. We had just moved into a new neighborhood two days ago and I already had a friend. Her name was Barbara and she lived right across from us. Me and my brother Liu were outside doing whatever we felt like doin and she walked up to us. We weren't doing much right at that moment. Barbara was the most beautiful girl that I had ever met in my life. Really, I wanted to ask her out, but I wasn't sure what she would say.
(Barbara's POV)
I was inside my house reading when heard a yell from outside. I put my book down on the table beside me and went outside to see what it was. When I got outside I realized it was just Liu because Jeff was chasing him. I went over to talk to them. When I got there Jeff turned around and saw me coming. Jeff just stared at me until I broke the silence. Just wanted to see what was going on.
Not much of anything. We're just trying to keep ourselves occupied. Ok, said Barbara and she turned and walked back to her house.

It was my first day to go to Malibu High school and we had to ride a bus. Me and Barbara sat on the bus together on the way to school. My new school was way better than the school I used to go to. Barbara showed me to the office were I could get my schedule. I waited there for about 15 minutes while Mrs. Flanigin talked on the phone. I finally got to go into the office and get my schedule. I was put in all of Barbara's classes.
