I whispered for you to leave.
You would only get hurt if you stayed.
But you stayed,
had a hero-complex,
thought you could save me from myself.
And somewhere inside I longed to be saved.
So I let you stay.I screamed at you to stay.
To not leave me alone with my demons again.
But you left,
got hurt from trying to fix me,
felt the sharp shards of my soul piercing your fingers.
And somewhere inside I knew you could never save me.
So I let you leave.
