Introduction
"Where are you taking me?"
Suddenly, I was dragged by my intimate personal maid who looked at somebody is going to kill her if she could not make it to that specific area in time. I notice that father wants to see me but can you please stop dragging me so roughly? It hurts. -*-
"To choose your protector (bodyguard/adjutant), your highness" said the maid.
"A protector? You mean one like father has?" I asked her.
"Yes, your highness. His majesty await in the hall with over a hundred of young protector your age, your highness."said the maid.
"Why calling me? Shouldn't father be the one picking one of those young protector for me?" I asked.
"No not this time, your highness. His majesty said that he will be the one who stand beside you forever. That's why you highness should choose by your own."said the maid.
Forever? O_O That means I am going to have a friend who I can play with forever right? ^~^
At last, we arrived in front of the hall room. I nervously under the hall heading to my father direction without looking at anybody in the hall. I feel like there are over hundred pairs of eyeballs looking at my direction.
"Who do you want as your protector, my daughter?"
Suddenly, father asked me when holding my shoulder which made me shock a bit. Because in my whole life, father never actually care about me. Let's just say, I am not his favorite child.
"I can't decide, father. But everyone seem friendly and I hope they all can play with me." I replied.
"Play? Hahaa ^O^" he giggled.
He then kneed down toward me so that he could made it to my height which made everyone in the hall kneed down as well because they won't dare standing above their emperor.
"I did not call for you just to let you choose your play buddy, my baby. But he must be able to protect you as well." He whisper to my ear.
"But still......" I mumbled.
"Come on, just try choosing one. Walk around."
After saying that, father pushed me forward which I nearly bump into the nearest guy.
Well, the nearest guy has quite a body ...... but he has pimple all over his face. I don't want that kind of protector. NEXT!
From the first sight, i noticed that this guy must be having an asthma. Looking at the way he breathe...... Nope, NEXT!
After looking at some, I am nearly at my limit. So I asked out one question.
"What would you do when someone is going to hurt me? If your answer satisfy me, then i will choose you."
"I will use my Udo skills which i studied from the professor to protect your highness." Said the pimple guy.
Super lame -.-
"I will throw you a sword, you highness."said the asthma guy.
Seriously? So you are not going to come and help me? -.-"
"I will die in your place before they could harm your highness."
That answer..... I turned around to see whose answer is that. I saw a boy who was shy to make eye-contact with me. He was the smallest of all the guy here.
Suddenly i asked "What if I am going to kill you?"
"Then I'll let you because your highness might be angry with my own mistake and decided that i need to my punished."he replied.
I surprisingly smiled and turn around to father direction saying "Father, I choose him."
Father smiled back and began walking to our direction.
"What's your name? Little guy." He asked that boy.
"Myy namme iss ... Baekhyun... Byun Baekhyun, your majesty." He said nervously.
"Byun Baekhyun, you are the one and only official protector of Princess Maiya from now on."
