Today was like any other day for the band, just going to venues. We never thought this would happen at all though, to be truthful, I really like performing live, but I didn't think we were good enough to be recognized by people though. “Dan, were going on in a minute, get ready"Woody shouted from backstage. “yeah, whatever" I replied. We're at the O2 in London. Tonight's clearly gonna be a long one.

I'm so nervous, I'm shaking. This only happens when I know there's a big crowd. We're all in our line for who gone do it first. It goes Woody, Will, Kyle and then me. “3...2...1" was shouted at us as our cue to go on. Oh my god. There are so many fans! it's amazing. This night is gonna be wicked. “Hi everyone, we're Bastille and this is Bad Blood. We hope you like it" I said to the fans, regretting it at the same time because if they didn't like our most colon and famous song, they probably wouldn't be here...
5 songs later.

The music to flaws started playing, so I pulled my hood up and jumped down from the stage. I struggled to keep singing as I got lifted into the crowd, but it got easier as I stepped onto the floor. “There's a hole in my soul, I can't..." I sung as I was walking around watching my fans as I went. I kept singing, as I turned to a different direction, something caught my eye. There was a girl standing by herself crying. I hated seeing my fans cry, it really breaks my heart. I walked up to her and gave her a smile. She seemed a little happier now, I turned around but kept looking back. I kept walking so I could get back to the front before the song finished. “Look at the wonderful mess that we made, we pick ourselves undone" I sung whilst being lifted back to stage. “Thank you! We've been Bastille, have an amazing weekend!" I said into the microphone whilst looking at the girl. She was looking at me too. I winked at her, and she smiled. She has the nicest smile I've ever seen. It makes me feel so warm inside. I waved at the crowd, but obviously it was only meant for her, and then walked off stage.

This is the first I've ever done so sorry if it's bad...

Lauren's p.o.v

I woke up to my alarm I had set the night before. I'm usually so tired in the morning, but I guess not today. The only explanation for me being energetic must be that... We're going to see Bastille today!!! and by 'we're' I mean me and Tara. We have being waiting for months just to get tickets for a gig that actually isn't sold out. we had to pay double the price, but to be honest, when I comes to Bastille, who wouldn't? I text Tara, as I usually do every morning. “Hey! Get up, it's the day we've been waiting for!<3" I left my phone on the bed side table and decided to have a shower whilst waiting for a reply.

I got out of the shower to hear my phone ringing. realizing it's Tara, I answered it immediately. “Hello, is Lauren there?" I recognized the voice as Linda, Tara's mum. I don't know if it's just me, but she sounded like she was crying.“Yup, that's me. What's up? Are you okay? you sound sad" I asked, worried. I heard quiet sniffles in the background. “Listen Lauren, urm, I need you to stay calm and keep strong for me when I tell you this, okay?"Linda asked whilst crying harder. I was beginning to get really worried now. “Okay Linda, I promise. Now can you please tell me?" “Linda had a heart attack this morning in her sleep. she's in hospital in intensive care. they say she might not live any longer." She cried. I broke down into a mess of flowing tears. “What?! how did that happen? oh my God. I have to see her now! I'm going to see her!" I shouted and hung up the phone. I ran downstairs and grabbed my coat and converse and then sprinted out of the door. the hospital isn't too far away so I just ran.
