Everything for me was simple. I had a good life; good friends, good tutor, a good and very rich family mind you...then all of that changed. I can remember exactly what happened on May 20, 1876. It was around ten, and I was walking home from a friends house for dinner, when it hit me. I say it as vaguely as possible. It was pale, almost like a bright light. As I brushed past me, I heard a voice sounding like a thousand voices harmonizing together, it whispered to me. It said, 'Run.' So I ran.

I turned and ran as fast as I was able to, with my dress, I started tripping and I was not an experienced runner. As I ran, I remember tripping and falling on my face. A black mist stepped out from behind me. This mist was shaped like a human being. On its face, was a gigantic smile, more like a grin that was enlarged. The smile was crudely shaped and it had no teeth. It was filled with overflowing magma. Spilling and bubbling, with its crude and fingers made of ash and crushed bone fumbled with the magma spit to keep it contained in its mouth. As it loomed over me on the sidewalk, I screamed and covered my head with my arms. Hearing sputtering was startling.

I slowly uncovered my head and eyes to see another figure. This figure was white and blinding like that previous one that told me to run. But this was more bright, and had more of a form. It looked more like a man than a mist. The only color on the figure was a blackish gray stain that was spreading. He whispered, 'In the Name of The Lord, leave me.' And the spot quickly receded from him. He quietly approached me.

"Wake up..." His voice soothed my aching body and soul. My mind became foggy and my head felt heavy.

"What's happening to me?" I asked, felling tired, but energized.

He stroked my cheek with the back of his hand, "You need to wake up, Pandora...wake up."

I woke up.
