Mathews pov
I arrived in California about 3 hours later. i walked into the lobby of the airport looking for my name card in someones hands. I was walking for about 10 minutes when i saw a guy tat looked around my age holding my name. I walked up and introduced myself. " Hey my names Mathew but i normally go by mat."
" Sweet, my names Kyle. Its about a 2 hour drive back to the house so we we should probably get goin."
"Alright."
We started walking toward the exit and i pulled out my phone to call Taylor. When i clicked on her contact a picture of her popped up and i smiled.
" Is that your girlfriend?" asked kyle.
" No shes my best friend. her name is taylor." I said back.
" oh nice." replied kyle
After two hours of driving we finally pulled up at a house. The house was pretty nice and also kind of big. I got out and grabbed my things out of the back. I walked inside with all my stuff and was taken upstairs by Kyle so he could show me my room. Kyle told me that i would have my own room for a little while till some one else moves in. I started to unpack when my phone starts to vibrate. i take it out of my pocket to see Taylors face on my screen.

T: hey best friend , hows California been treating ya?
M: um good so far i guess , i mean ive only been here for like 3 hours.
T: lol oh my bad i guess i didnt really think about.
M: oh taylor i worry about you sometimes.
T: heyyyy youre mean!
M: oh you know you love me.
T: i guess.
M: hey sorry T but i really need to unpack.
T: no problem byeeeee.
M: bye Taylor.
