Chapter 6 - Chairwoman

"I remember", Krish said in a loud voice.

"Okay Krish, You need to calm down now. What are you talking about? You are saying that your friend Sathya was murdered?"

"Yes Mam."

"In that case who do you think murdered her"?

"I don't know mam. But", Krish had a hesitation.

"But what Krish? Tell me what you know", Yavanika asked.

"Yesterday night while I was leaving her apartment, I saw a woman entering the lift wearing Pardha. But I thought it was a man inside that dress. It's just a feeling I had. That woman went to 10th floor. So I just left. But I shouldn't have left", Krish looked worried.

"Okay, you write a statement about that and give it to us. It might be a woman who lives there. We will check it out."

"Okay mam. Sure"

"Do you know Mr. Ravi? The Ex Minister Raju's Son In law", Yavanika asked.

"Yes Mam. I know. We work at the same company. He is our Team leader."

Yavanika and Roopa were shocked to know that.

"You three work at the same company?"

"Yes mam."

"When was the last time you saw him?"

"It's been three days. I saw him on Monday. It's Friday now. He didn't come to work for the past three days. Yesterday was Sathya's first year work anniversary. She wanted to meet him. But he wasn't there."

"He usually takes that much leave?"

"No mam. He won't even take sick leave. I tried to reach his cellphone. But it was out of range."

"Did you complain to police?"

"No mam. We asked her wife. She said that she filed a complaint."

"Hmmm. What's the relationship between Sathya and Ravi"?

"What? Why are you asking like that mam"?

Yavanika looked Roopa. Roopa showed that letter to him.

"No it's impossible. They were like brother and sister. This is a fake letter mam", Krish was loud and clear after seeing that letter.

Yavanika sighed and asked "What is your company name"?

He replied "CLOUDICA".

"I think we have to make a visit to that company", Yavanika said to Roopa.

"Yes mam", Roopa replied.

"Who is the chairman of that company?" Yavanika asked Roopa.

Krish intervened and said "Rakshana!"

Yavanika told Roopa, "Well it's a CHAIRWOMAN!"
