Chapter One: Who are you?
Lailonas P.O.V.
Waking up at 7:00 a.m every day can be a pain.. but what I go through is worse, I just have grown to accept it.
I know no one would want me, I have a flaw no one can look past.
It curses me to be forever alone.
I am blind.
I only see what I feel, anything new is a blur.. a very strong blur that not even the smartest can make out.
I really don't feel like getting up, but I have to.
Flipping my legs over the side of the bed, I navigated my way towards the bathroom with my mini blind stick.
I turned the shower on to the right temperture and got in, doing my business.
After getting out, I put my clothes on that my mom sat out while I was in the shower and brushed my hair.
Slowly grabbing my blind stick, I walked downstairs towards the kitchen, petting Marley (my blind seeing dog) and sitting on a chair I managed to find. Once I heard my mom set a plate in front of me, I ate my food.
I then grabbed onto my handle on Marley and walked out the door, to the school.
You have to learn to trust the guide dog, you have to bond with him/her. And I love Marley to death, she keeps me safe.
Hearing the talking and laughter, I noticed we were already at school.
Walking up the ramp to the doors, Marley tugged indicating for me to reach out for the handle. I reached out and opened the door, letting Marley lead me to my class.
-Justin's P.O.V-
I have to move back to canada to finish my last year in high school.
I wanted to graduate as a normal teenager. It only seemed right to do so.
It was really a way for me to escape, because everyone back in Canada treats me like a normal teenager.
Walking into the school, I navigate to the front office to receive my schedule. Swinging open the door, I walk in and up to the front counter.
"Excuse me, miss?"
"Ahh, yes?"
The girl at the counter wouldn't look at me and I couldn't figure out why.
"Um, I'm here to receive my schedule."
"Of course, what's your name?"
That was strange, not to sound conceited, but people don't usually ask my name because they already know it.
"Justin, Justin Bieber"
"Umm.. uh.. wow. I'm sorry, it's just that's not who I'd expected that voice belonged to. I don't mean anything by it, I just can't see. I'm blind, so I literally have no idea how you look or how anyone looks except by how they talk, feel, and well.. sing."
Well, that makes perfect sense.. I kind of feel like a douche.
"No, no.. no need to appoligize, it's okay. Would you like to, uh, you know, feel how I look?"
Great Justin, way to make yourself feel like a complete and utterly wierdo.
"Thank you for the offer, but I only just met you and I like to hear the persons voice and get to know them better before I feel what they look like. I know it's weird, but I really can't help it. Maybe soon, though. Janet, can you get Mr. Biebers schedule out of the files? Thank you."
She taps her fingers, patiently waiting for Janet to retrieve the file. After Janet finally gives her my schedule, the girl turns back around and hands me my schedule.
"Thank you....."
"Lailona, but call me Lona."
"Lona, I'll catch you later."
Leaning up closer, towards her ear.. I whisper,
"By the way Lona, you are a beautiful woman.. not to mention, you're peircing carribean blue eyes are gorgeous."
And with that, I turn around and walk out the door and head to my first class.
