I entered the arena with a duel disk on my arm and deck in it, I was prepared to beat him. I was showered in light as the lights shined on me the announcer announcing my name and various things about me. I stood waiting for my opponent to enter the arena, the crowd cheering for him to show up.
A dark figure was visible walking the hallway into the arena. I squinted my eyes and sure enough, it was him also holding a duel disk on his arm and Deck in it. He smiled deviously at me, it stretched up his face. His eyes peered into my soul, one of us was not leaving this arena unscathed. The announcer announced his name as well.
"Well look who made his way to face me." He said manically.
"And I will defeat you no matter the costs!" I shouted confidently.
"Someone's got a pride issue, let's fix that by making this a shadow game!" He were incased in shadows.
"Let's finish this the way it should be and find out who is worthy here!" I said, my confidence sliding away.
"I'll let you have the first move." My opponent said.
"Gladly, I set two cards face-down and summon Magician's Rod in attack position!" I exclaimed. My monster appeared in front of me, my opponents smile seemed to be super glued.
"When Magician's Rod is normal summoned I can add one Spell or Trap card that specifically lists Dark Magician from my deck to my hand." I searched through my deck to find The Eye of Timaeus.
"Oh no, you get a card what will I ever do?!" My opponent cackled loudly.
"Don't get your hopes up." I said looking indirectly at him.
"Get on with your turn so I can win." My opponent taunted.
"I'm done with mine, it's your turn." I said.
"I draw!" He said. I stared into his cold dead eyes, his look could kill all by itself.
"When you said don't get your hopes up I hope you were talking to yourself! I activate Polymerization! Fusing together the three Blue-Eyes White Dragons in my hand to create Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon! I'll also set one card."
My opponent was only on his first turn and summoned one of the most powerful monsters in duel monsters already. I had to admit it was impressive, but my opponent read my thoughts. The three headed Dragon stared at my Magician's Rod.
"It's impressive isn't it? Well you haven't seen anything yet, I now send Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon to the graveyard to special summon Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon!" He exclaimed, the three headed dragon disappeared and revealing a shining white dragon.
"And thanks to Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon's special effect, it gains 300 attack points for every Dragon Type monster in my graveyard and I count 4. That brings it up to 4200 attack points." The shining Dragon seemed to shine brighter from this.
"I guess now is a good time, I activate Eternal Soul! And that's not all for me either, while Magician of Dark Illusions is in my hand and I activate a Spell or Trap card I can special summon it from my hand and I'll put it in defense position."
"Well your Magician's Rod is still open to attacks, Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon, demolish Magician's Rod with Shining Nova Attack!"
"You're really that gullible, come now James you haven't lost your touch already, I activate Magic Cylinder!" I exclaimed.
"You dare to use my real name?! You shall pay dearly for this act!" James roared as his own attack backfired at his life points lowering them down to 3800.
"You won't get away with this, Alex!" James shouted holding his head in agony. I struck a soft spot, the super glue must've worn off because his smile vanished into a furious contortion.
"I end my turn." James said not at all liking that his name had said.
