Alois POV
I stared at my phone in shock. They wanted me to join the senior division early? Is that even allowed? I got changed and left the change room as fast as I could. I saw Yuuri in the lobby. "What do you mean join the senior division?!" I exclaimed. He jumped slightly in surprise.
"It means you'll be skating with the older skaters." Yuuri replied.
"Yeah, I understand that much, but I'm not old enough to do that!" I countered.
"Well, they bent some rules to get you in. Do you want to?" He asked.
"Of course I want to! When is the first competition?" I asked excitedly.
"In three days." Viktor said. "I just told them that you'd do it."
"The short program is in three days?" I started to panic. "Crap, I'm not ready!"
"Yes you are. We'll practice everyday until then too, you'll do great." Yuuri said.
"Congratulations, Alois." Otabek said. Yurio nodded. I smiled.
"We should get going now, Phichit's making dinner we don't want it to get cold." Viktor said. We exited the building and Yuuri locked the door. Viktor and Yuuri forum their car, and Otabek Yurio and I climbed on the motorcycle, with me in the side cart. We followed Yuuri and Viktor to Phichits house. I'd heard of Phichit, he was in the GP final quite a few times. I guess all the skaters knew each other or something. We walked up to the front door and Yuuri knocked. Phichit opened the door with a smile. "Hey! Come in!" He said excitedly. We walked inside his house. It smelled really good, like food. I like food. "I'm making pork cutlet bowls, I know you guys like them." Phichit explained, walking over to the kitchen. "How'd you ever guess?" Yuuri joked. Viktor giggled. "That wasn't even funny." Yurio mumbled. We all stood awkwardly in the entrance. "Oh, sorry, you guys can sit at the table if you want, food is almost ready." Phichit said. We went over and say at the table. There were two extra seats, I assumed one was for Phichit but what about the other? I shrugged the thought of as Phichit brought the pork cutlet bowls over, balancing all seven of them on two trays. There were six of us, so obviously someone else was supposed to be here. Phichit placed the tray in the middle of the circular table and placed a bowl in front of everyone. He sat beside Yuuri. On Yuuri's other side was Viktor, then Otabek, then Yurio, then Me. The empty seat was in between Phichit and I. Just then, someone walked ik the dining room. "I didn't know we were having people over." She said. It was Christina. "Oh Hey Alois." She added, sitting beside me. She started to eat. I chocked on some rice. Everyone looked between me, Christina and Phichit. "What're you doing here?" I asked. Christina shrugged. "I live here." She continued eating.
"Oh right. I should probably tell you guys something that happened a few months ago." Phichit started. Everyone looked at him expectantly. "Well, I started dating this girl. She was nice at first. But then she was weird, she started saying weird things. That later progressed into doing some weird Satanic rituals, and that's when I called the police. They took her to a mental facility, and I'm pretty sure she's still there. To be honest, I don't know what happened to her. Anyway, she had a daughter I didn't know about, that no one knew about. She didn't have any family or friends to give said daughter to, so in the end I won custody of her daughter against some adopton agency. This way, when or if she gets gets out of the mental hospital, she can have her daughter back. Christina was her daughter. She's my daughter now, until her mother gets out." He explained.
(I didn't mean this in any kind of insulting way, I'm sorry if you took it the wrong way Christina. But hey, Phichits your dad!)
"Oh my gosh, Phichit." Yuuri said, pulling his friend into a hug.
