Enoch and Olive have been dating a couple months now and everybody is so happy. They make a cute couple. They've been on land for a long time. But they live on the ship. Olive woke up early because Miss Peregrine was making her and Enoch go into town to pick up a new peculiar. Enoch thought that the peculiars we have now are fine and we don't need a new peculiar but Miss Peregrine insisted. "He should be waiting for you at the entrance of the woods," Miss Peregrine said last night. "Why the woods?" Enoch asked her last night. Miss Peregrine said she didn't know. That's the whole reason why Olive woke up early. She cleaned herself up and got dressed before going to wake up Enoch. She knocked on his door. No answer. She tried to open the door but it was locked. She knocked louder this time. She heard footsteps then a click then the footsteps disappear. Olive turned the knob and the door opened. Olive walked over to Enoch's bed. "Enoch," she said gently shaking him. "Enoch," she said again shaking him gently. Enoch grabbed Olive and pulled her into his bed and pulled her close to him with his arms around her. Enoch's curly hair was a mess. "Your hair's a mess," Olive told him. "Yeah and ya are warm," Enoch told her. "That's because I'm made of fire," she told him. "Yeah," he said.

"And ya are my girlfriend," Enoch added. "And you're my boyfriend," Olive said. He gave her a quick kiss. "And you guys are going to get in so much trouble if the bird finds out!" A familiar voice called from the doorway. Olive turned her head to see Emma in the doorway with Jake. She sounded serious but the smile on her face made it obvious she was teasing. "Don't worry I won't tell," Emma said. "I will," Jake said. Emma elbowed him in the shoulder. "Ow!" He exclaimed. "Don't you dare," Emma told Jake. "Fine but if Miss Peregrine corners me I won't lie," Jake said. Emma elbowed him again in the same shoulder. "Hey what did my shoulder ever do to you?" Jake asked Emma. Emma just gave Enoch and Olive a smile before leaving. She came back 5 seconds later when she realized Jake didn't move. She grabbed his hand gently before leaving the room again. Olive let out a sigh that she didn't know she was holding before sitting up and dangling her feet over the side of the bed. She buried her head in her hands.

Enoch scooted forward so he was behind Olive. He placed his hand on her back. "Hey everything is fine," He told her. She placed her hands in her lap. She put a smile on her face. "There's that beautiful smile," he said. He gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before he laid back down again. She looked at him. "What?" He asked. "Did you forget already?" She asked. "Oh," he said. "Yeah we have to go pick up the new peculiar," she said. She stood up and extended her hands and Enoch took it. "Go get cleaned up," she told him. She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before leaving his room. When Enoch got cleaned up he left his room to go find Olive. He found her in the main room. She was putting on her purple coat. Enoch made sure Olive had her coat on before he wrapped his arms around her making her jump. He let out a laugh. "Very funny," she said.  Enoch gave her a smile. And she kindly returned it. "You ready?" She asked. Enoch nodded his head before holding her hand. They left the ship and made their way to the entrance of the woods.

When they got there, there was a boy who looked 16. He had plantium blonde hair and green eyes. He had a blue jean jacket on and a black t shirt. He had jeans on and black shoes. "Is that him?" Olive asked Enoch. "I think so," Enoch replied. "He's the only boy waiting at the entrance of the woods," Enoch added. "True," she said. They approached the boy. "Hello!" Olive exclaimed. "Hello," the boy said. "You must be the new peculiar," Olive said. "Yeah," the boy said. "What's your name?" Olive asked. "I'm Oliver," the boy said. "Oliver H. Jones," he added. "Oh," Olive said. "Well Oliver it's nice to meet you," Olive said. "I'm......" Olive began. "Olive," the boy said. Olive looked at Enoch then back at Oliver. "And you must be Enoch," Oliver said to Enoch. Enoch looked at Olive then at Oliver. "Yes but how did you know our names?" Olive asked. "Uh............" the boy said. "Because you just told me," he said. "No we didn't!" Enoch exclaimed. "You didn't?" He asked innocently. "No," Olive said. Enoch and Olive knew something about him was suspicious. "Well let's get to the ship shall we?" Olive said. The boy nodded. On their way over Oliver broke the silence.

"You're pretty!" He told Olive. "Um thanks I guess," she said. "You're welcome!" He exclaimed. "She's also taken!" Enoch told Oliver. "By who? You?" Oliver asked trying not to laugh.  "Yes! By me!" Enoch snapped. "Oh you're hilarious!" He told Enoch. "Like she'll ever go out with a guy like you!" Oliver said laughing. Enoch was flushed with rage. Olive noticed to. "Stop it!" She yelled. "Oliver I know you're new but Enoch is my boyfriend and he happens to be a wonderful guy!" She exclaimed. "We've been together for months and nothing is going to change that!" She added. She planted a kiss on Enoch's cheek before rushing ahead. Oliver glanced over at Enoch. "Ya heard Olive!" Enoch exclaimed. Enoch rushed after Olive and Oliver followed. They all approached the ship where they were greeted by Miss Peregrine. They introduced Oliver to Miss Peregrine. Miss Peregrine asked Oliver to go inside while she talked with Enoch and Olive.

When the door closed behind Oliver, Miss Peregrine turned towards Enoch and Olive. "Everything alright with you guys?" She asked. "Not really," Olive said. "Something about Oliver is suspicious," Olive told Miss Peregrine. "What?" She asked. "Well when we met him at the entrance of the woods he told us his name," Olive began. "How is that suspicious?" Miss Peregrine asked. "Because before I could introduce myself he already knew who I was," Olive replied. "He also knew who I was," Enoch said. "You're right that is suspicious," Miss Peregrine said. "Anything else?" Miss Peregrine asked. "Uh he started hitting on Olive like he known her for a long time," Enoch replied. "Yeah he also started making fun of Enoch," Olive added. "Hmmm," Miss Peregrine said. "That is suspicious," Miss Peregrine said. "You guys keep an eye on him," Miss Peregrine whispered. They all nodded their heads in agreement. Oliver was hiding something.

They all entered the ship and joined everyone in the living room. Enoch and Olive sat in the two empty seats on the couch. Enoch felt Oliver's gaze on him. Out of all the people Oliver could be staring at he stared at him and Olive. Enoch wrapped his arms around Olive and she laid her head on his shoulder. He saw Oliver look away. "Children we have a new peculiar with us!" Miss Peregrine exclaimed. "His name is Oliver H. Jones," Miss Peregrine added. "What's your peculiarity?" Hugh asked Oliver. "Oh my peculiarity is ice," Oliver replied. Enoch felt Olive shiver at the thought of ice. He pulled her closer to let her know that she's safe from that wight who nearly killed her. She's been scared of ice ever since. Miss Peregrine made everyone tell Oliver their peculiarities before rushing them to their rooms while she made supper.
