My Heart Says...

Happy Birthday!

I woke up full and fresh,
Happily wore my birthday dress.

Got annoyed it looked bad,
The first reason that made me sad.

Wishes from the unexpected ones,
Yet my heart longed for a wish from the special one.

My eyes were swollen red,
Due to the sleepless night in my bed.

The upcoming exam, a milestone for my career,
I wasn't​ prepared, yet was confident like a warrior.

The depressed suicide note from my dear,
Made my little heart tear.

My day was again shattered,
For his words did matter.

My eyes were filled and I cudnt see,
Yet nobody was there to comfort me.

My heart in Vain,
With the underlying pain.

I tried and tried to console myself,
Alas! I understood  I was trying to fool myself.

My long time wish, for celebrating my 18th birthday,
Was shattered coz it was worst of all days

If life ever had an eraser,
I would prevent the day from getting more worser.
