I woke up, the blinding rays of sun shining through the sheer black curtains.
"Morning baby" I mumbled, turning on my side and rubbing my eyes. No reply.
"Babe?" I then opened my eyes to see the other half of the bed empty. I sat bolt upright and turned to the side of the bed, pressing my feel onto the cold wooden floor.
"Baby?" I yelled. Still no reply. He probably has wor- no. Today is a Sunday. He doesn't work on Sunday. I scrambled over to my drawers and grabbed my phone, turning it on and clicking his contact.
"Where are you?" 5 minutes later, I got a reply.
"I'll be home soon."
I just nodded to myself. Maybe he went shopping? Or maybe his friends invited him out. It is 11am. I sighed, placing my phone back down and walking out of the bedroom. I dragged my feet along the hallway, turning right and heading down the stairs. I jumped at the bottom, making my way to the kitchen. The marble floor made me shiver. I turned round to my right and opened the fridge. Wait a second...... the fridge is full. He wouldn't need to go shopping. I shook my head and grabbed a yoghurt out. I then pulled the drawer open next to the fridge and grabbed myself a spoon. I decided to stand up and eat. I proceeded to throw the pot away and go to the front room. I threw myself onto the sofa and pulled the remote closer to me, turning the tv on and getting comfortable. I just sat and watched children's cartoons the whole morning. 5pm. Dinner time. He still wasn't home. 'Stop worrying' I told myself. I feel really sick. I'm not going to have dinner. I'm just going to wait for him to come home.

A few hours passed. 9pm. Where is he? I started to worry now. I decided that i'd turn the tv off, make sure all the doors and windows were locked, and go to bed. As zi made it to my room, I picked up my phone. No missed calls. No texts.
"Are you coming home?"
"I'll be home soon."
Same reply as earlier. I guess he's gone for a night out. He'll be back in the morning. Seeing as I spent the whole day in my pyjamas, I just got into bed and tossed and turned until I managed to drift off.
